I'm willing to bet on two things:
1. Once it hits about 495,000 people will start donating like its the last minute of an Ebay auction trying to be the donor who makes it 500k

2. Once it hits 500k, this forum will crash :D

Refresh! It says give Paul a MILLION!!

Nice Flash, looks like they were ready for the change.

So last quarter raised 2.5Million, and were going to get near a million in just the last week of this quarter! After tonights debate I'd expect a nice spike again.

I don't know. I expect tonight's debate to not be a great environment for Paul.

I expect it to be:

"Question One: Congressman Paul, why do you support whites-only restaurants and hotels?"

"Question Two: Congressman Paul, why did you hate Rosa Parks?"

"Question Three: Congressman Paul, why don't you want to let Africans starve without US aid?"

Etc.

The Republican debates naturally feature attacks on Paul because he's anti-war - but a liberal/minority debate puts the entire Libertarian Party platform from 1988 on to the table.

I think the PBS moderators will be a bit kinder to Paul than the FOX mods were.
1.2 Mil boost by the end of the quarter is my prediction.

A lot of people are tired of the premise at the root of those questions. Ron Paul does not need to be fawned over by the questioners; he needs to to stay true to his beliefs, and a great number of people will be thrilled with how he stands up, especially in contrast to the pandering that we'll see from the other candidates.

This debate setting will be great for RP.

Heres some questions from the PBS site that they're featuring and might ask during the debate.

“Do you think American society is on the decline and what role do you think minorities will play in our country's role in the world in the future?”

A Viewer, New York, NY

“Have any of you considered a better way to fund our education system than property/school taxes? Do you think revamping the current tax system would bring more equality to school standards and performance? What are your ideas to get our broken education system up and running again?”

Janice Roach, Highland Mills, NY

“Over 8 million children have no health insurance in the U.S. How do you propose to ensure that children grow up healthy and have access to comprehensive health care?”

Jason Epstein, Washington, DC
