He's going to get the Schiff treatment, alright. We saw how Ed operates the last time he was on there, and we saw how his stand-in stooge did. If it turns out otherwise, I will be about as surprised as if you told me that they finally found WMDs in Iraq.

We can clearly see that the left/right battle does nothing to help our country, but the majority of people are still caught up in it. Until you can break free from that you'll just be a tool. When your guys are in power they can do no wrong. When they are out of power the other side is always wrong. Shows like this only make things worse. I would totally cancel my cable service, but I get it for free as a Comcast employee.

For a second I thought the HuffPo guy was going to make a good point about a perfect pot brewing, and then he dumped all this bullshit race crap into it.

No..people are pissed off because of the Bank Bailout, the Stimulus Package, Cap'n Trade, Healthcare and maybe not in DC, but in the rest of the country, jobs are hemorrhaging, people are losing houses/cars and can't find work because we have this phony, debt-based economy. So people get pissed off!

But people can't legitimately be angry. It's much more advantageous to dismiss them as Haters who must be crushed.

You see Ron likes Obama to a point. He likes that the secret service didn't get involved.

Ron always tries to make a point that everything wrong with this country isnt 100% Obama's fault, and I think that'll go a long way towards reaching the minds of those who are conditioned to believe that anyone who opposes Obama's platform is a hater.

The main point here is that the guy wasn't trying to enter the building with a weapon. If someone were caught entering a building where the POTUS is with a concealed weapon, then I could see the media flippin out about it.
But they are really making a mountain out of a mole hill with this. He wasn't trying to hide the gun and here was no law against it.

I don't buy that he "owns rifles and shotguns" one bit. That is just adaptation of the line used by people who think the 2nd amendment is about hunting. In fact I'd be surprised if he really did have either of those in his house.

You could even take it a step further. Every presidential assassination on record has left serious questions as to whether the assassination was carried out by the government itself or at least affiliates of the government.

From Hinckley's brother dining with George HW Bush right before the attempt on Reagan, to JFK's assassination right after proclaiming a desire to shut down the Fed (grassy knoll and all that), to the attempt on Andrew Jackson as he worked to shut down the Bank of the US (predecessor to the Fed), to Lincoln's assassination and guess what? Lincoln was a critic of the central bank. Looks to me like the only people the President needs to worry about is the Fed after voicing a desire to shut it down.

Yeah, more people die because of car crashes than guns in the U.S., yet you do not see people getting all in a hubbub when there are cars near the president.
