Was just listening to a panel of historians on C-SPAN about Lincoln. Apparently, a huge number of blacks made it to the coast from the south and hitched a ride up north on union ships. Lincoln was considering sending them south and setting up an encampment between what is now Costa Rica and Nicaragua... What would have happened if he had?

Think gangs, crack, crime, political correctness...

just curious about thoughts here...

gangs would still exist.
crack would still come from Columbia.
crime will still exist.
political correctness will still exist.

most of these issues come from policy.

crack problem -> there is a drug war and it makes money for Columbians
gang problem -> innercity poor people trying to be apart of something
crime -> a resort of being free living beings, some of us whom resort to crime
political correctness -> politicians wanting to play the citizens like a game
