I wish more areas would get in on it. Philly planned some other statewide meeting for the 29th, so most of the state is out.

I spent the evening here in St. Louis doing preps for this. We are going to continue making signs tomorrow and then hang them up on Sunday evening/night so they are ready for Monday morning traffic.

I took some real quick pics about an hour after we started. (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1348&l=b3cdb&id=501637848)

Even if you aren't involved in the effort on making and hanging signs remember to "spam" the MSM this weekend.

I just got in from putting up signs. I did 20 myself and put them along both sides of a busy road. One cute girl saw me putting one up and honked and waved at me. Ron Paul gets all the ladies.;)

Did anyone else get some pics of their groups getting ready or doing this?

Also, is everyone else waiting until Sunday evening/night so they can get the Monday morning traffic?

Anyone put them up in their town last night? Let us know so we can help you "spam" the local media outlets.

Kind of disappointed with my local meetups. Bunch of no shows. :(

My ex and I, and my ex's mom went out and put up pole signs and yard signs on the major routes and intersections in 2 towns... but no one else showed up to help!

We're doing this tonight in Pittsburgh. We figured it would be better to get the commuter crowd on Monday. Right now, as we speak, there are eight teams putting up over two hundred signs and banners throughout the city, chalking strategic sidewalks, and getting ready for a coordinated effort to call our local media, and in all calculating innocence, ask "What's going on?"

We had excellent turnout. I hope the video turns out just as well after editing.

Putting banners on random fences: yes or no?

(I've seen it done in vids, but am reluctant to do it myself.)

The news articles have been positive about it. Go for it.
Unless your city has a law against it.

The first banner we made ourselves. We'd previously only purchased them on ebay.

Local politicians have been at it for a while already. In comparison, the official RP yard signs aren't that visible. Poop.

For having had zero meetup members show up, I think we did great. The major routes got covered, and that was priority numero uno.

The camera's batteries died about halfway through the night, but the banners went on overpasses over I81 and a state route. Still have a few more to put out when we find spots for them.

In MN we have like 320 signs going up all over town. We hit the biggest highways with the most traffic. About 25 people participated. It was so awesome to see our signs up!!

Buffalo, NY had about 300 signs to put up tonight. I was part of it until a drunk/high driver hit me and sent me to the hospital =(

Keep up the great work! Hope to see this in the news =D

We have our signs and banners out. I'm just hoping we manage to spawn a local news story from this. That'd make me very happy.

If anyone wants to call/email a radio station here and ask them why Hazleton (pronounced Hazel-tin) is plastered with Ron Paul Hope for America signs, go for it!

I WANT TO STRESS: Keep an eye on your signs!!!!!!

If they fall over put them back up, if they break take them down. The dems where in my town for the debates and they left all their shitty signs all over the place. Most are on the ground and road now IT LOOKS BAD!

No worries, we take pride in our signs! I even take old election signs down, so that I can use the stuff (stakes, colorplast, etc...) :D

Our meetup only put up 5 signs. 4 were plywood 4x4 and 4x8 yard signs and the last one was a 6' x 35' long Ron Paul for President on the side of a big barn on a 10,000+ car/day highway.

I call that a success.

No pictures yet though :(

I am glad to read about how everyone made out...we've been wondering how you did.

In our area, there was a team of 4 in our county, a team of 2 in the other. We(hubby and I) were the go between and went into both counties and even a third, real briefly. I'm estimating we put 35 signs up. I am not sure how the team in the northern part of our county did, but sightings were reported by a friend. The ones that did the other county also did parts of other counties. They hung banners in key NYC commuter areas.

I still have a few signs leftover and have the urge to hang more now, but we promised the kids we'd spend time with them after a weekend of Paul....so maybe tomorrow night.

Wow, bad news in our town. At least 7 of the large 4'x8' signs we put up on the overpasses this Saturday have already been taken down by the local road hard-asses. That's depressing. Most of them didn't even last 48 hours.

Hubby put one right at the city entrance where it would be seen very clearly by those on their way to work...he didn't expect it to be there when we went by there today. He was floored!

He got very good exercise last night with all the sprinting he did. Never in a million years would I have pictured us doing what we did last night.

Our local meetup group posted about 100 signs in our area but then it rained. In conbination with the 15 mph wind gusts we had this weekend, they were gone the same night.

Wind and rain did a number on some of the signs in St. Louis too. One of the overpass signs that I put up last night on 270 was barely hanging on, thankfully I put it on an overpass that gets very, very little traffic so I was able to fix it. Hopefully it will still be there when I go to work shortly.
