VOTE YES ON THIS!

Obama's new Attorney General has already said this is one of his major issues.
This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today. It will only take a few seconds of your time.. Then pass the link on to all the pro gun folks you know. Hopefully these results will be published later this month. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme Court accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals to bear arms.

Here's what you need to do:

First - vote on this one.

Second - launch it to other folks and have THEM vote - then we will see if the results get published.

The Question is:
"Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?"

Vote at link below and PLEASE vote Yes!

Be very careful with this one.
The second amendment does NOT give us the right to bear arms. The second amendment informs the government that we HAVE the right to bear arms and we will use them if the government interferes with any of our GOD GIVEN rights. Repealing the second amendment would not take away our right to bear arms, it would only instill an ignorance in the agents of government that will get someone killed.

The poll is a push poll. It is not to gather information as much as it is to distort your beliefs on the subject of the right to bear arms.

The 2nd does not give rights.
The 2nd Amendment restricts the government from interfering with those natural rights.
At least , That was the plan.

The 2nd amendment does not 'give' the right to bear arms and it doesn't not make it legal to bear arms because the right to bear arms belongs to the people and the people need no law to secure that right. Rather it makes it law that the government shall not make any law to infringe the right of the people to bear arms.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Because, in the end, the only way to secure the right to bear arms is to bear arms.

The 2nd Amendment doesn't give us anything. It is only supposed to protect a natural right.

you don't have any rights no matter how much you believe you do, you're just lucky people give you your rights when they can violate them anytime they want. (saying they can't doesn't stop them)

It seems to be this way, unfortunately. So, QFT. :(

Of course it does. To be precise, it recognizes protecting that God-given right as the specific, limited purpose of the Federal Government. The 2nd is the ultimate gun permit.

"the people's right to bear arms shall not be infringed."

What part of that doesn't anyone understand?? The fact that they even ask this question to anyone that can read above a 5th grade level is an insult to our intelligence....
