Please post what you donated in quarter 3 versus quarter 2. While this won't predict the fund raising trend, it should give us a good sample to go on.

Q2: $50 (what i can't donate in money i can donate in time and energy!!)
Q3: I have no freaking clue. All i know is that every time something pops up and says "Hey, donate for Ron Paul!" i end up charging SOMETHING to my credit card. My husband probably is wondering where all our spare change is going. I've probably donated around $250 this quarter though. I'm still trying to find a way to come up with the Max for Q4. One of the ways i can help is by converting my wealthy in-laws to donate in my stead ;) hehe

Q3: I really don't know... I think $2000+/-

I've donated few hundred every now and then, plus I've been buying lots of supplies, not sure how that adds in there.

I'm actually looking forward to see if my name shows up on the donors list so I can figure out how much more I can donate ;)

This thread might not be a good predictor though -- it might attract more posts from people who upped their donations, and some of the 2Q money was from people who maxed out early and couldn't give anything this quarter. Their progress looks like this:

2Q: $2300
3Q: $0

We have to offset all of those, which is why a lot of the other candidates are going to raise less this quarter than last.

NO. HE WILL!

I think I had $50 in Q1. It will probably be at least 5 times that in Q2, plus some donations to buy supplies for the local meetup group.

A strong third quarter fundraising report should generate a lot of free publicity, and give the campaign even more credibility, both of which should encourage new people to jump in and start donating....

Fourth quarter numbers won't get the same publicity as the third quarter totals, since the primary results will be all the news in January. So give as much as you can this week.

Q3: 25 so far maybe another $25 (hopefully more) this Friday

I have called100 people in Iowa and mailed RP info. I also purchased some slim jims and have handed them out and will continue to do so. I also have two RP shirts and a bumper sticker and bring him up when I can in a conversation.

If I can't afford to max out maybe I can recruit a few people who can.

I signed up for $250 a month (afte rthe initial 500 lump sum) so mine looks like:

q1 - 500
q2 - 750
q3 - 750

That doesn't leave room for much donation in q4 - but it is Christmas season then and I have young kids, so that is probably for the best.

Q2 100-150
Q3 I would guess between around $1,250-$1,500 so far (including purchases from the Ron Paul store)- its mostly been in "nickel and dime" donations- $25-50. It might be less, because I may be including some "unofficial" donations in that count.

I think I really don't want to know- because now when my wife asks me how much I've spent on Ron Paul, I can just say "I don't know, not much"- If I knew what it was, and had to tell her I sent $1,700 to Ron Paul, she'd probably make me sleep in the dog house for a month.

I've wanted to donate soooo bad. I haven't been able to yet. I've been covering a lot of college loan expenses / food on a very small budget.

I'm already setting things up so I can put some aside to donate.

My veins have yet to be tapped, folks. Trust me, they'll be tapped soon enough.

That was originally a metaphor.....

But it's got me thinking.

You can actually get PAID to donate plasma....

This would bring a whole new meaning to the idea of "Shedding blood for your Country"

Exactly...imagine if all RP supporters donated plasma just one time and then donated the proceeds to RP? I think it's like $30-40 every time you donate in my town. I've never done it, but I'd donate Plasma For Paul!

Crap, we might even be able to get some good media out of a drive like that!

duuuuuude great idea.

Instead of a Paint the Town Ron weekend we could have a organized blood drive weekend...everyone who donates wears Ron Paul shirts, hands out RP info to the people collecting blood. Do sign waves outside (im sure the donation centers would let us to sign ways in return for lots of blood donations)
