Paul supports elimination of most federal government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, the IRS, NASA, DHHS and the Department of Education, calling them unnecessary bureacracies.

Does Dr. Paul really support elimination of NASA? I'm just curious, because I had never heard this before. Also, bureaucracies is spelled wrong.

Well, technically speaking, NASA is unconstitutional. The Congress is not authorized to fund a space program. Now, they are getting around that by making it a department of the Airforce, but again, the Airforce is also unconstitutional because the Congress is not authorized to fund an air force either, just an army and a navy. that is unless the airforce is still a department of the army.

He wants to keep the military operations for NASA but sell off the rest to private entities.
