I need some information that will convince my Democratic friends Obama and Edwards are phonies. I can point out Edwards supporting the war in Iraq, the Patriot Act, and war with Iran. I also point out Obama's support for war with Iran.

Does anyone have any good links that further explain why Democrats should not support these two?

Obama voted to extend the Patriot Act.

Tell them that under the Patriot Act that Obama and Edwards supported, the government can read their medical records and prohibit the doctors/hospitals from telling them that their records were accessed...

And then the Patriot Act makes a total lie out of the Democrat mantra that "abortion should be between a woman and her doctor." Yeah, between a woman and her doctor and the Department of Homeland Security.

Obama says he does everything he can to stop the wars, but then is not in Congress voting on the Iran bill proposed by Lieberman today.

How about the fact that Edwards, the scumbag trial lawyer from North Carolina, made "affordable health care" a staple of his campaign when he's the same person that made tons of money off of toothless southern juries by chasing ambulances. What a fake.

Oh, and not to mention his 5 million dollar mansion. "Two Americas?" Indeed, John. Indeed.

Knight approved the building plans that showed the Edwards home totaling 28,200 square feet of connected space. The main house is 10,400 square feet and has two garages. The recreation building, a red, barn-like building containing 15,600 square feet, is connected to the house by a closed-in and roofed structure of varying widths and elevations that totals 2,200 square feet.

The main house is all on one level except for a 600-square-foot bedroom and bath area above the guest garage.

The recreation building contains a basketball court, a squash court, two stages, a bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms, swimming pool, a four-story tower, and a room designated “John’s Lounge.”

Actiually, the part of the law that meant that people were verboten to talk about Homeland Security inquiries was overturned as a violation of the First Amendment.

But I've been telling people that very same thing, especially about the abortion issue. The whole "right" to safe abortion procedures is predicated on a "right" to privacy. Once the government starts providing healthcare, the Christain right will easily be able to point out that we've lost our reasonable expectation of privacy when we insisted the government meddle in our health care.

Unless the Democrats get enough of a spine to push through an amendment, this nonsensical quibbling over abortion procedures will never end.

Is it just me, or is Obama quickly developing a pattern of merely avoiding controversial votes?

Not that his supporters will care. :(

Yeah, he seems to have a huge following of young voters. Anyone aware of what Jeff Frazee from campaign HQ is doing on college campuses????? I haven't heard a thing.
