Just got this in an e-mail update:

You are invited to meet and hear Chuck Baldwin, 2008 Constitution Party Presidential Candidate, give the keynote address at an August 13 dinner in Oklahoma City.

The Constitution Party along with The Free & Equal Elections Foundation are hosting the dinner to focus attention on HB 1072, sponsored by Representative Charles Key and Senator Randy Brogdon, which would make Oklahoma's Election Laws more in line with other states and enable voters to have more choices in the ballot box on election day.

Different versions of HB 1072 passed both houses of the state legislature this year by a combined vote of 132-6 before it was tabled in conference committee at the close of the 2009 session. The bill is still alive for consideration in 2010, so that is where you're help is needed.

Oklahoma State Senator Randy Brogdon, sponsor of HB 1072, as well as Christina Tobin of Chicago, the Founder of the Free & Equal Elections Foundation, will also be speaking at the dinner.

The dinner is from 6:30 to 9:00 pm and the cost is $50/person. Space is limited, so contact Thom Holmes before August 11 to reserve your seats at 918-866-2256 or holmesta@hotmail.com

The location is the Joyner Room at the Sheraton Hotel/Reed Conference Center in Midwest City, OK., 5750 Will Rogers Road, Midwest City, OK, phone: 405-455-1800.

The hotel and conference center are located at the Sooner Road exit off of Interstate 40, just 4 miles east of downtown Okla City.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you,

Thom Holmes

Chairman, Constitution Party of Oklahoma
