1. Go to www.Craigslist.com

2. On the right side of page, pick a state or US city

3. On the left, under "community", select politics

yOU'LL WANT TO CLICK "POST" AND THEN "POLITICS" AGAIN

Post as many ads as you can all over USA....It's free and Craigslist is HUGE readership...

It takes about 1 minute to post an ad. Vary the wording in the subject lines slightly so your multiple ad doesnt get bounced out by the system..

Post something like this:
************************************************** ******
SUBJECT: LEARN ABOUT THR RON PAUL REVOLUTION

Body: Please take a few minutes to watch this amazing video clip of Ron Paul. I've never trusted a poltician like I trust this man.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3330187011438423016
************************************************
You'll receive a confirmation e-mail that you have to click...

How do I know this works? Whenever I post my Ron Paul website...I am able to track TONS of visitors who came from Craigslist!

This is something we can all do a few of each day.

hERE...i JUST DID ONE http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/pol/433151678.html

I've been selling each week on Craigs and have usually used the Another Friend of RP logo as my 4th picture and had literature when the item was picked up.

But Craigs has some very vague terms of service along with some stiff penalties, it's not quite clear how many you can post at once. It does say don't post the same "item" (in this case I have an item) to more than one city at a time or how many in one category, I'm not sure.

Stiff penalties? LOL...The worst they can do is pull the ad....

you arent selling here, you are just posting poltical messages under the catagory "poltics"
you can place as many as u want...just change the wording and spacing each time so its not exact....I've done as many as 20 in a given day...but the wording is the key for working around the automated system

Here's the ad I did just now for our groups - I do an ad every week - this week I posted pictures from our meetup activities -

I post my ad in the "groups" section as the political section is a little "hot" to find group members :o

I do occasionally post a good video or commentary by the good Dr every once in awhile in the political section :)

Ron Paul is a man of uncompromising integrity who actively promotes the return of government to its proper constitutional origins.

We are seeking fellow supporters to join us in our grassroots efforts in the Portland metro area to help him win the Presidential Election in 2008.

Whether you are curious and seeking information about the candidate or passionately motivated to get this candidate elected, there's room for you! Whether you are a “behind the scenes” kind of person or feel more comfortable with public speaking, there’s room for you!

Our groups have a broad, diverse membership - young, old, republicans, democrats, libertarians, seasoned political veterans, formerly disenfranchised voters ... have I mentioned? There’s room for you!! We have a variety of projects we are undertaking -some of our past projects include: Hillsboro July 4th parade, Portland Saturday Market, Portland Farmers Market, Tigard Balloon Festival, Rush Hour Sign Brigades, even sending letters to Iowa voters!

These groups are for people who support Ron Paul, or want to learn more about the Ron Paul Phenomenon - the first true "bottom up" campaign any of us have seen in our lives.
A Ron Paul World is about self-reliance, personal integrity, and honesty in our voluntary relations. It's a world based on MUTUAL RESPECT and PERSUASION - a NO FORCE WORLD.
Get connected! Find out how you can help get Ron Paul in the White House!

Join us if you support:
-lower taxes thru less government
-bringing our troops home immediately
and probably most importantly: a president who follows the constitution.

Help raise awareness for Ron Paul NOW! Here’s what a few of our 200 + members have to say:
"Good event. Well organized and run. I'm looking forward to the next meetup."
"Very good energy! Excellent group of people! "
“Once again it felt great to be out spreading the word about Ron Paul. Lots of honks of support:)"
"We have a great and although rather diverse group. I'm looking forward to putting our collective skills into action."
“It was exciting to see so many letters going to Iowa! It felt great to be part of such an accomplishment! "

"It was my first RP Portland Meetup event and certainly won't be the last."
"Energizing! It feels good to be a part of this! It's easy and convenient. "

Going to get on this right now, I checked politics for my area and nothing but one sentence for Gravel. 4 Political posts total! Most don't even know there is a Craigs List for Maryland Eastern Shore.

Wonder how I could work this in to some Freecycle giveaways which I do often too.

Yes, they mention 100 or 200 dollar fines (?) for each listing per day in violation but can't quite figure out the maximum allowed. I'm safe on the Political board though.

Maybe I'll point them to the thermometer first, truly amazing and addictive!

Nice...

but why limit yourself to NC....Hit every major city in USA...I've done as many 15 ads at a time (just reword slightly)

I focus on major cities (more readers!)..and also on early primary states (NH/NV/IO/SC)

30 minutes of Craigslist posting is the equivalent of 1000 flyers in a local parking lot!...and its FREE!
