Donation counter?

Does anybody know if there is a donation counter in the works? I think this is crucial to have up for the money bomb to really push people towards donating, and donating more.

From what I've heard the pledge counter at http://www.schiffathon.com/ will turn into a donation counter at 12:00 AM Friday. Hopefully there's no technical problems with it.
