Okay, a reporter on campus in NH...talking to a group of students.

Reporter asked where do you get your political info, from television or internet?

Kid he asked said "oh, the internet, we get all our news from the internet" and as the reporter turned away I could have SWORN the kid said to him

"Good Luck."

I laughed out loud. What a funny comment!

The desk babe asked if they are using myspace/facebook or what, the reporter went back and asked the kid the same question, and get this: the kid says "I work for the campus radio station and on our website we have streaming news from Fox News right on the page." Two things about this...

First, this interview was on MSNBC. :D

Second, if you are getting your news ONLINE but from a mainstream source, then you're getting MAINSTREAM NEWS. DUH.

Guess that kid doesn't realize that part.

And yeah, it was a group of democrat kids. lol...

May I use this opportunity to ask a question that I've been wondering?

What are good online news sources?
(the forum and dailypaul.com are all I use...:o--I need some real news sources :D )

BTW, I'm still smiling about the post. It seems weird to me that the Democrat kid watches Faux News, though...you know?

I would really like to see The Real News (http://www.therealnews.com) get up and started. I think there is a legitimate demand for that type of service.

I also use Joel Skousen (http://joelskousen.com/), Rense.com, Cnn.com, Google News, Yahoo, etc.

From what I've seen, The Real News has gotten a lot of support from liberals, and tends to have a liberal slant. I'm definitely for independent news though.
