I wonder how many supporters he will get there, between the vast Democrat majority on the one hand and the Romney local-boy advantage. Not that Romney was well liked in Massachusetts, but he does have universal name recognition there.

As of last night I heard only six people were going to be there. Hopefully there will be more.

What an unfortunate waste of his time if so. I do hope there will be more. Let's hope some people from other states show up.

I don't think it's a waste of time. That's at least $6,000 for a 2 hour stop on his way up to Manchester, NH the next day.

I'm considering going. $1000 cover charge is very steep, I wasn't planning on donating that much, at least not all at once (need to open a Roth IRA this year!).

If they had gone with $500, I would be signed up already. It would be pretty amazing though, if there's just a few of us there hanging out with Paul. Like back-stage passes to a rock concert. :D

Go! Please go! You can open a Roth IRA for this year anytime up until April 15, 2008. Please donate NOW while it will be most influential in how much press RP gets for the 3rd quarter!

Your IRA is fighting against the systemic inflation tax the Fed is causing.

The future of America hangs in the balance on this election.

And I mean, when are you going to get that much face time with the rock star of the 2008 campaign?

Just do it! You'll have a great time!

name when you run for congress. There will be far more than six there. I just noticed the posting recently.

I've thought about going if I have a specific purpose for going, sorta like a $1000 investment.

I've got an idea for a libertarian free-market response to all the government-run health care ideas the democrats are throwing out there. I thought I could write a few pages on that and offer it to a staffer. Maybe it would help. Probably a waste of my time to do that though.

I've also thought about asking him about his plan for choosing a running mate (not that he'd tell ME anything juicy), as well as if he can endorse any congressional candidates for us new Ron Paul Republicans to support.

Still not sure I can justify the $1000. I'm working on it though. ;)

I got an email from the campaign over the weekend about the event. I'm guessing they emailed everyone on their list in the New England area. Just wanted to clear that up, they did get the word out.

If you can justify $1000 over time, you can justify it this week as going there to show your support so that the half-dozen people don't rattle around like marbles in a shoebox.

Look, if you donate $1000 over time, you're still not going to get as much close-up exposure to him as if you go now... you won't get any at all if you donate over time. So why not go and see what other heavy-hitters have to say to him, what their ideas are... they've probably thought about the campaign a lot... and you can see if you can get in your question about endorsing other candidates.
