Just got this in an e-mail update from the Drug Policy Alliance:
We know how hard you've been working this year.
Your travel budget may have decreased, but your importance in bringing an end to the failed drug war has only increased. We need you at this year's Reform Conference. That’s why we’re pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships to attend the Reform Conference, November 12-14 in Albuquerque.
As in past years, we will prioritize those who have never attended before and those traveling on behalf of an organization. We’re also encouraging African Americans, Latinos and other people of color, as well as students, women and people from the Southeast and Southwest regions to apply. However, we recognize that it takes an entire spectrum of age, race, gender and experience to build our movement, so all with a passion to do the work are welcome.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, August 12 -- so don’t delay! You can get all the information you’ll need to prepare your application on the scholarships page of the conference site.
Please make sure the activists and colleagues you work with know about these scholarships. We can bring together the most diverse and dedicated group of reformers ever to participate in the Reform Conference and keep moving the drug policy reform agenda forward.
