So this is the next generation?

They have this entitlement thing going a bit too far don't they?

Maybe the government should take care of her, maybe she should let the government find her a job and pay her and feed her. Then she won't have deal with finding a job. Sounds so wonderful, how bad can communism be? Can't be worse then this!

Unbelievable. Best part.....It's only been 4 months. 4 friggen months!!!

With a generation of kids coming up who believe they are entitled to everything, I think an Obama presidency is probably too conservative for what this generation wants.

She went to college to boost her chances of finding a great job once she got out of school, but now that that hasn't happened, Trina Thompson wants her money back.

Thompson, a graduate of Monroe College, is suing her school for the $70,000 she spent on tuition because she hasn't found solid employment since receiving her bachelor's degree in April, according to a published report.

The business-oriented school in the Bronx didn't do enough to help her find a job, Thompson alleges, so she wants a refund. The college says it does plenty for grads.

The 27-year-old information-technology student accuses the school's Office of Career Advancement for not living up to its end of the deal and offering her the leads and employment advice it promised, according to The New York Post.

Well, if we are going to be a bunch of socialists, then the gov owes you a job for attending their colleges. Of course, they rarely follow through on their end of the deal...

Maybe she is just trying to warn others by raking up some anti-college publicity. Probably not, shes probably just desperate.

I was a triple major undergraduate and upon graduation went directly back to school for my MBA. After that I couldn't find ANYTHING, I ended up taking a $12/hr market research job which was a glorified telemarketing position. 6 years of schooling and a graduate degree and I was making pizza delivery boy money.

But I had a job and I turned that opportunity into something better and used the experience to get into the profession I wanted. I didn't cry that no one hired me.

I should have sued my college because I wasn't offered a job making $60K the day I finished my MBA. Life isn't easy, many people have struggled coming out of college. This lady is absolutely ridiculous.

I still don't have a job, but I doubt I can sue anyone.
Heck, I can't even afford a lawyer to help with things I actually have a case with. :(

i wish I could get the 12k i spent back on college. Total waste. Glad I realized it sooner then this girl.

Lawsuit is pretty silly IMO, but hell why not. At least she is going after the school. She just should have realized it sooner and maybe not transferred that money from the taxpayers to the school in the first place.

Maybe this is the same woman who thought right after Obama was elected that she wouldn't have to worry about paying for gas and her mortgage

I tell friends of mine all the time what happened the day of the inauguration.

I'm at the Dr. office in the morning at all eyes are glued to the TV. They are all commenting about how amazing and wonderful it is that Obama is president. They are talking about recording it and saving it for their grandchildren etc.

Then they started making comments like, "Finally. It happened. Everything will change now. Everything will be OK, it will all be so much better."

These people were not talking about a specific issue like race...No..They were making general sweeping statements about their lives magically changing into this happy Utopian world because BO became president.

It was as if their mortgage payments and the rest of their bills would magically disappear. It was at that point I realized the stupidity of many of our voters.

No problem. Give the 70,000 back. Take back her diploma and all her course credits. Provide no transcripts as she is a persona non grata. If an employer ever calls to ask about her college background tell them she does not have a degree.

Can't give the $70,000 back because she can't give whatever percentage of the education seeped into her thick skull back.

What's hilarious is that, depending on the school's policies, she might have a case. A lot of these rinky dink schools promise "job search services" where they will go to bat on your behalf. Some of them are very specific as to what they will do. If they didn't hold up their end of the bargain, she might very well have a case to sue them, but she won't get her full $70,000 and she won't get a job out of it. In fact, people will just Google her (as many employers are doing) and see that she's *THAT* girl, and find some reason not to hire her.

Idiot.
