Not quite a "crisis" after all.

This cartoon should be something that goes "viral".

Wishful thinking.

My parents are paying almost 20,000 a year for quality health coverage from Kaiser for our entire family now that coverage from their jobs was cut because the businesses couldn't afford the ever increasing rate hikes.

The system is fucked.

Anyone that disagrees is free to go have a heart attack and then loose their coverage from their job and then go solo-apply.

Lemme know how it turns out.

CivilRadiant: That's shitty.

The system is fucked. However, it sounds like your parents, like myself, are sort of in the 9.4 mil temporarily uninsured category. Except they're part of a tiny group of insured people who are the exception who don't let it lapse.

Government has caused the prices to be outrageous, so I go without for the time-being.

If everyone STOPPED buying insurance the problem would go away. But so many brainwashed sheep now think INSURANCE = CARE. $20,000 a year for care? That is the dumbest fucking thing I have heard in a long time.

This is what I have been saying for many years insurance is the biggest rip off I personally have ever had the displeasure to witness. Don't buy it save money especially if you are in good health.

That was creepy. Even though I watched about a minute and a half of it.

It would have cost my father over 300 THOUSAND DOLLARS OUT OF POCKET for the treatment he received when he had a heart attack if he had been without insurance at the time.

Well, perhaps if they invested that same money, they would have enough when something serious happens and they they could pull that money from their investments and pay for the medical bills. The problem is, you never know when something serious is going to happen and you may find your investments short of cash if it happens before you have enough money invested.

You know there was a time in History where people just died. We never had health coverage problems because it wasn't a problem at all. Now everyone wants to live forever and no one is allowed to die. Now society thinks everyone should suffer so someones grand father doesn't die from a heart attack. The way I look at it if its time to die its time to die. I refuse to act like a damn socialist and try to live forever thus stealing my child's future for what 5 years of life. I seriously don't get it. I guess thats what happens when You have a Godless society and everyone is afraid of death.

You should stand in front of a train. You're going to heaven anyways, right? Religious people are the ones afraid of death since they're the ones who believe false stories in order to comfort themselves.

If you killed yourself right now everyone else would benefit, so please do so.
