Thought I'd start this now

Can we round up everyone on this forum and each of us take one page from Ron Paul's friends on myspace and message them?

Ron currently has 119,923 myspace friends.

That's 3000 pages.

With 40 friends per page.

If each person messages 5 pages = 200 friends X 20 people = 4000 friends.

It's a daunting task, and not very efficient, but I do think it will provide the best bang for the buck so to speak. We need to disseminate the Money Bomb information into the hands of the people most likely to donate to Rand's campaign...namely Ron Paul fans.

1. Let's play it conservative here and say only 10% of Ron's myspace friends donate.

2. Let's also play ultra conservative and say the average donation is $50 instead of the called for $100.

3. Thats's approx $600,000

I've made a Google Doc to keep track of who's taking care of what pages.. it will add up total friends contacted.

I haven't started sending messages, and I won't start until Rand officially announces. Right after he announces, I'll probably take some quotes from that and incorporate them into my template..

great idea! Though I just asked the C4L about Ron Paul's Facebook/Myspace page. They said they would contact Ron Paul's Congressional office about it. They also said Liberty PAC would be supporting the candidates.

One thing I've been doing, with surprising success, is going through fan pages on Facebook. In particular I've actually targeted John Yarmuth's fan page (among others) and you'd be surprised how many like what Rand Paul has to say.

I think it might be more effectivie if we all sent Ron Pauls Myspace a message saying he / whoever runs it should message all his friends about Rand and the money bomb. If we all did it im sure they would.

Yeah, I messaged the guy that did the original one for TeaParty07. His username is TechnoGuyRob. He is still active on reddit.com, making a comment just yesterday. I sent him a message on reddit, since he hasn't been on RPFs in a long long time.

That said, the MySpace contact effort has started to organize. I have a spreadsheet of volunteers and # of committed pages of friends. I will invite you to be a collaborator at the email address you posted above.

Just be sure to make a couple more Facebook accounts and confirm them with a cellphone (otherwise you'll have to enter the weird characters to confirm you're not a auto spam account all the time) 'cause mine was deleted because of the Ron Paul script and I had to make a new Faccebok account.

Facebook have changed their policy since then, you can't send too many messages... tell Technoguyrob about that. I sent 5 messages once and it blocked my account
