Were Milton Friedman still alive today, it would be his 97th birthday. In honor of his enormous contributions to our understanding of how markets work, in addition to his role in popularizing economic freedom, here is famous program, Free to Choose.

Here, you can watch all 10 episodes of Free to Choose. In my mind, there is no better exploration and examination of the freedom that has made mankind prosperous. Milton Friedman explains how prices allocate goods, how inflation is a monetary phenomenon, and more.

Bonus: In the 1990 updated version, Arnold Schwarzenegger gives a hilarious introduction.

Good for the beginner.

Keep in mind:

Monetarism = Fail.
