First a lady who spoke broken English, then a message from Ron Paul, then John Tate goes on and on...

After 5 minutes I hung up......

Out of touch with people like me!

I got to where he asked for $200, though my attention had drifted before then.

I received one yesterday too. I think it went on too long also, but if they weren't working, I doubt they would be doing them.

They may work on some people..... but not me or many people I know...

I've ask to be removed from their mailing, emailing, and call list...weeks ago!

I got one yesterday and I'm pretty sure he said, "Ron Paul....errrr Ron Brown.... err Ron Paul" in his schpiel before the message played. I thought the message was pretty good, but kinda long for a phone call.

They called me like 3 times yesterday when I was at work. Didn't answer. What a pain in the ass. Makes me not want to donate to them anymore

Same here, except it wasn't a lady and they didnt speak broken english but the guy really didn't care and the recorded section was way too long.

But, after hanging up while Tate was still talking, I did go to the website and become a dues paying member. So I guess it did work somewhat.

They called me on the same day last month (29th), so I guess they do these calls once a month.

They need a way to remove people! Plain and simple!

Just called me again...

I wonder if they're hitting everyone in their database up this hard, or just people who have donated in the past.

I got one yesterday, same as the OP, broken English lady and all. I stayed on and was glad it was Ron Paul first. When my kids started bugging me-- as they always do when I'm on the phone-- I said, "Shhh! I'm on the phone with Ron Paul!" You should have seen the size of their eyes :D They left me alone, though! I ended up haging up at the end of the call before I was reconnected with broken English lady.

Long messages (around 10 minutes) beat short messages, time and again.

I received a call yesterday and today although both were 1 ringers. I did not have a chance to answer. Looked up the number on the internet and saw it was C4L.

^This is the problem. My husband has asked MULTIPLE times to be taken off their mailing list and call list, yet we still get stuff from them and we get calls...Come on now? Unsubscribing a name from the list should be pretty simple.

Who do I need to call in order for our names to be permanently removed from the list? Thanks

Are they from a 202 area code?

I got a call this afternoon. I cut the guy off before he even played the message and pretty much said I know what's up, and I donate when I can, but I had to go because I was with my kids. I can't take these calls any more.

Well the reason they are pushing more now is that there is a major surprise coming up with HR1207, and they need funds to pay for it. Think the stuff they should have done during the Presidential Campaign.

are these phone calls being sabotaged on purpose?
