http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_CAMPING_FOR_FREEDOM?SITE=FLTAM&SECTION=US. It was a 5 page article that talked about the Porcupine Freedom Festival, and the tone of the article was very fair. This is the biggest press day that the FSP has ever had. In fact, the website crashed earlier but is back up now. The article was also picked up by the Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/07/25/AR2009072501369.html and on the main page of Fox news online http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,534841,00.html. The article is entitled "Libertarians seek a place in the New Hampshire sun." Since the AP picked the story up late, it is likely to be seen in many newspapers tomorrow, Sunday - which is newspaper reading day for many people. This story was also talked about tonight on Free Talk Live. Enjoy!

After a decade of retaking their stolen freedoms, the people of Wyoming (many of them newcomers) are forced to finally confront their jealous masters in the U.S. Government. Can a lone, courageous state successfully resist federal tyranny, or has the Bill of Rights been reduced to a myth? Can an allegedly free people act free, or is our liberty just a 4th of July farce? These issues weigh heavily on the shoulders of Governor James Wayne Preston, a decorated Desert Storm Marine helo pilot. Elected in 2014 on the Laissez-Faire Party ticket, he enjoys nearly full support of the legislature to return Wyoming to a long-lost era of liberty. But how far can he and the people of his state go before Washington, D.C. feels compelled to act? Will Wyoming's free and independent course reach actual secession? Will President Melvin Connor suppress the maverick Western state with federal troops? Will anybody come to Wyoming's aid?

Molon Labe! is a fictional account of a real-world blueprint for a free state initiative focused on Wyoming. If enough freedom-loving individuals will relocate there under a useful pattern, they can "liberate" the Cowboy State on many levels. In Wyoming we could truly enjoy our rights of gun ownership, privacy, schooling, health and diet, unrestricted travel, and property. Boston shows us how it actually can be done!

Boston is a good man, to be sure. But, the WY movement doesn't hold a candle to what we are doing in NH. We are the real FSP, hence we get press.

We've had 29 signups because of it in a day and a half, that's momentum - plus many more friends because of it. Plus, we've had way more participation on our forum as of recently.

I saw snippets of this article on the Providence Journal. It made the project appear very radical IMO. I attended porcfest and highly enjoyed it. As soon as I can figure out a way to move my rental business north im in.

Awesome article!
Some thought the article was semi-derogatory but I think differently. Turns out that the article was put in at least 172 newspapers yesterday. This is by far the biggest exposure that the FSP has ever gotten, over and above the online content.

Considering the usual coverage the media gives to liberty oriented stories, this was excellent. Obviously could have been better but at least somebody is covering this amazing concept for once. Hopefully it will lead a lot of libertarians to the FSP so they can stop spinning their wheels on national politics and concentrate on somewhere where we can have success.

So when are you moving up here?

Probably in a few years. My plan was to try to make some money after college in the world of finance and use this money to fund activism in New Hampshire because I think more funding is desperately needed. However, that is seeming less likely nowadays so I will probably give up on that and just make the move and get active.

Rock on bro! I will likely have plenty of money in a short time and I'll support whatever I can, but do what's best for you, my friend.
