recently i thought it might be a good idea to see if what o'reilly says about NBC is true or not by randomly checking a couple shows. to be honest, what i saw was MUCH WORSE than what Bill said. now let me mention one thing first, i do try to get all sides of a story so i listen to NPR, FOX as well as ABC news. but NBC without doubt spews the most vile, vicious and brain numbing propaganda ever!

a total disgrace to all the hard working, objective news men and women in this country.

now i will stoop to the low level they are operating from, just to show them (if they ever come here at all): you guys are a bunch of commie goons. go to cuba, i am sure fidel has a place for you somewhere.

Only reason to watch NBC is to learn what exact strawman arguments the left is making so you can easily respond to their brainless nonsense.

The worst part about NBC is the senseless Republicans they love to give air time to. I swear the if I have to hear Pat Buchanon speak one more time I'm going to vomit.

Its all useless information but in cat fight delivery, guests screaming and yelling and braindead partisans spewing the party line. Almost like Springer for news. Only thing missing is the pulling of hair and a few fists.

LOL. I think I can count the number of times, on one hand, that Ron Paul has been on that network. The only host seemingly who will have him is Rachel Maddow. She also happens to be the only one that seems to have any intelligence. I do think I could seriously talk with her, however, when 99% of a network is complete crap I'm not going to take time to give praise that they have one person who on occasion will bring a Republican on their show that has actual merit.

I do not how Buchanan is able to take the abuse or live with himself for taking a paycheck from the beast. At least they are somewhat respectful to Ron.

The channel does remind me of the old days of Radio Moscow on shortwave. I cannot believe I would live to see a day in my life time when we have that same kind of blatant propaganda here in the U.S.

I thought my NBC you included MSNBC. MSNBC has had Ron Paul on perhaps more than any other 24hours "news" channel. Certainly more than "conservative" foxnews.

Edit: and what's your problem with Buchanan? I'd say he is a bit of a loudmouth; but what do you disagree with him about? He may very well have been the first MSM talking head to mention Ron Paul in a positive light during the primaries.

The entire mainstream media, with VERY RARE exceptions, is nothing but the propaganda mill for the state. Or, as L. Neil Smith put it in one of his novels: "The government's job is to provide 'service.' The media's job is to provide the Vaseline."

No way.

And Joe Scarborough.

You have to get Pat off that program. Maybe Joe needs to bring his son in for some shows. Now I hear he is a Ron Paul guy.

i spent many years in austria during the late 80s and 90s when the country was totally under socialist control. what i am beginning to get from obama are the EXACT SAME IMPRESSIONS, a deja vue almost. most american that voted for this guy have no idea what he is up to. pelosi and reid? tar and feather them. bush junior? thanks for betraying so many republican causes and screwing things up so badly most people saw no alternative than voting democrat.

this story will not have a happy ending...

What's the difference these days? Why do you think so many people still worship Reagan? He was the last government propagandist who used something besides leftist propaganda.

As for c-msnbc-GE, has anyone checked Howard K. Smith's grave lately? I expect we could get some free green energy if we could attach an armature to him--something tells me he's spinning in that grave pretty good.

Do we have to go through all of this again?
I guess we do.
Propaganda

Propaganda is a specific type of message presentation, aimed at serving an agenda. Even if the message conveys true information, it may be partisan and fail to paint a complete picture. The book Propaganda And Persuasion defines propaganda as "the deliberate, systematic attempt to shape perceptions, manipulate cognitions, and direct behavior to achieve a response that furthers the desired intent of the propagandist."

MSNBC had this weird picture of Obama with white lines coming from the background that were for 'design' but gave him kind of an illuminated presence and then it said something like "ALL OBAMA, ALL THE TIME" or something similar. It was a bit creepy.

But then again, Fox or any other station isn't any better.

Yep, they are feeding us what we want to hear, be it from the left or right. After all almost all media CEOs are members of one or more 'secret' lodges.

it all boils down to channeling the population's limited time resource to think about things to the established channels, democrat & republican..... i mean, they want to keep us all from asking the right questions.. like

why do we need the fed? why are practically all past fed chairmen jews?
why don't we have a viable 3rd political party (answer: they made it so costly that nobody can afford to do this successfully)
why are congressmen allowed to be in office for decades? there should be a 2 term maximum, then get the hell out and back to the real world
who is coming up with all the insane political correctness nonsense?
why our entire financial system is a ponzi scheme, no different from what madoff has done.
