I am rounding up the last of the numbers but here is what I need.

1) which insert/flyer do you think would work best in NH. I need one that can be edited to put that the local state rep endorses Ron Paul. 2 sided would be best.

2) A PAC that will help me out with fund raising/funding

The papers that the flyer will be going in:

Valley News 20,000 papers for $955 need 3 days before
Union Leader 72,000 papers for $2,750 need 10 days before

I want to run this in 14th or 21st of October.

I am still waiting on the printing costs. Anyone know a printer near Lebanon or Manchester NH that will give me a heck of a deal on printing please have them contact me.

If I am forgetting anything chime in please.

My email: RonPaulNH@hotmail.com

edit: FULL PAGE AD IN PAPER OPTION:

Union Leader: 72,000 papers for color $7839.50
deadline: 10/10
Valley News: 20,000 papers in color $2029.50
deadline: thursday before print

Think we could raise the money for these?

Let's see the ads you have proposed.

I think you could raise enough money here if you showed everyone what you are working on.

Plus, WHEN are you planning on running this?
I have printers here in MN that could give you a deal, but shipping would kill you.
why don't you just buy a full page ad? We did that in Iowa for the Straw Poll and it made HUGE waves. That way you don't have to worry about printing costs.
Just a thought.

If you want, you can use AUF PAC and we'll donate $500 to the effort.

I edited my message, you have a point maybe I should check the full page ads out. I will do that now. What did you use for your full page ads?

I wrote out a list of newspapers in NH, it's here on this board somewhere...

I called and got full page and half page ad prices, black and white and color, and largest circulation days.

I'll look for it when I'm done dialing MSNBC over and over, lol...

Even though you have to have them shipped, it will probably be cheaper than having them made local if you order from one of these places.

We created the Ron Paul Congressional Mosaic.

I'll see if I can find it online.

BLS, if you're getting inserts made, shouldn't we use BOTH sides of the paper?

Lookie here... http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=16277

But these would have to be made larger. In my opinion, we also should replace the reference to Daily Paul with 1-800-RON-PAUL or at least add it on. Since this is for New Hampshire, there should also probably be a couple of other small edits, such as with the information on the primary.

There is a New Hampshire printer being used for this too. Their contact information is in the above link.

I'm not getting inserts made.
This image above was a 1 page ad. We gave them the image and they printed it on the inside cover of the paper.

Do you have that one in a file that can be edited?

Ask Lord Xar. The front side (the one that BLS displayed), came from Lord Xar. He probably knows who developed the 2-sided flyer I linked to above. I'm sure he/she wouldn't mind giving you the source so you can edit it the back side.

We definitely want to take advantage of both sides of the insert.

Ok. I should have addressed my comment to ItsTime. You printed an ad directly IN the paper. He's doing inserts, so we have 2 sides we can fill.

Are you talking about ads IN the papers, or are you talking about putting inserts in the paper? What you quoted sounds like ads IN the paper, because they should care less whether the inserts are color.

Are you looking here? http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=16277

the last numbers are full page ads IN the paper

That seems pretty pricey. Did you check to see how much it costs to put inserts in the papers?

This is the cost to make the flyers, right? So we just need to know how much it costs to have them inserted in the papers.

Valley News 20,000 papers for $955
Union Leader 50,000 papers for $2,750

It seems like we would get more bang with the buck with inserts, because we can put a 2-sided ad on the inserts.

If you are going to do inserts, try clubflyer.com.
Their prices are fairly reasonable.

See here for example: http://www.taradel.com/Printing_Product.aspx?ID=23

It costs $1900 to print 100K 8.5 x 11 inserts. (Note: It will probably cost more for 2-sided. You'll need to check). It costs $293 to ship to a Manchester zip. So, let's say 2200 to create the flyers. Add that to the $3850 for insert placement and the total is still far cheaper than putting an ad directly in the papers.
