View Full Version : Beware of Disinformation About Fundraising This Week

In the coming days, BS artists and bloggers rooting for other campaigns are going to mess with your expectations about this quarter's Paul fundraising.

They are going to try to get some buzz out there about a high fundraising number, so that the actual number can be painted as a "disappointment".

Patrick Ruffini essentially admitted that he pushed out a $5 million number last quarter solely to fuck with the expectations of Paul supporters.

So if you see some blogger making extravagant claims, don't pass their disinformation on, don't link to them, don't post about it here as if it's actual campaign news, etc.

They only have a few days in which to mess with you. Fight them by ignoring them.

Thanks.

Actually the best way to fight them would be to donate more money!

especially the claims of 7-10 million, woohahahaha, evil pinky and all

yeah, money and lots of it is important, but money doesn't buy you volunteers papering miles and miles of highway up to Mackinac (one way in, wooo). Extra props to all the MI folks who made that happen.

These guys don't get it. Ron Paul doesn't buy votes, he doesn't pay for people to look excited. No amount of front tier money will make their message digestable.

Ron Paul rules and we support him and his message.

And of course, give more! I'm thankful I have another payday before the end of quarter!

I think the inaccuracies will be deafening after the first Quarter - we should take the high road! Ride the tidal wave of support and do not "wipe out" like Howard Dean!

The MSM will be LOOKING to sink us NOW!

I already told y'all. The expecations for this quarter's total fundraising is one hundred dollars. ($100). Pass it on.

Just an FYI- but the forum guidelines disallow posting of proclaimed official information (rumors) that isn’t directly supported on the campaign website, mass e-mail that everyone got or other such substantially credible source. If you see such as post please report it using this button http://www.ronpaulforums.com/gfx_RedWhiteBlue/buttons/report.gif and it will be removed.

Thanks. :)

No, you're mixed up. That's for Mike Gravel.

I'd like to see a break down of the number of donations rather than the amount. Sure, the other guys can probably out-fundraise us, but will they have as many individual donations? That would be the real story.

100 voters donating $2000 each will not beat 2000 voters donating $1 each at the ballot box.
