Does America have a hidden oligarchy? Is U.S. foreign policy run by a closed shop? What is the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations)? It began in 1921 as a front organization for J.P. Morgan and Company. By World War II it had acquired unrivaled influence on American foreign policy. Hundreds of U.S. government administrators and diplomats have been drawn from its ranks - regardless of which party has occupied the White House. But what does the Council on Foreign Relations stand for? Why do the major media avoid discussing it? What has been its impact on America's past - and what is it planning for the future? Just finished reading her remarks. Wow. She can use lots of words to say absolutely nothing.

This early line may have been in jest, but it's frighteningly true:

It’s good to have an outpost of the Council right here down the street from the State Department. We get a lot of advice from the Council, so this will mean I won’t have as far to go to be told what we should be doing and how we should think about the future.

What I found hard to follow was her use of "we" "us" "our." Sometimes she was sounding like it referred to the US. Other times it sounded like a global "we" or a CFR "we." I'm not sure if it was just being sloppy or if it was disturbing.

Otherwise, the speech was a waste of time to read, as it offered nothing new. (Let me know if I missed something)

An audit of the Federal Reserve should show if the Fed is bankrolling a shadow government or not. My gut tells me that indeed the Federal Reserve is funding a hidden oligarchy. The robber barons in the 1800s orchestrated a civil war that cost the lives of 600,000 Americans that resulted in a centralized government that completely reversed the power structure between the Federal government and the States. Today the robber barons are aiming for globalization.

I just ordered a copy of "Power Rules: How Common Sense Can Rescue American Foreign Policy" Leslie H. Gelb. Gelb is a CFR member. Hopefully I can get a better understanding of how the CFR operates by reading the book. Their mission statement does not get into specifics. I will purchase the book shown above and see how they compare since they are coming from two different points of view.

The Council on Foreign Relations is a Globalist Think Tank. Government officials, many Mass Media and Industry leaders have a CFR membership. The Fed isn't bankrolling them.

Right - the CFR has the most powerful, influential and wealthy list of members in the world. They don't need anyone to provide funding for anything - most agenda points can simply be achieved via policy changes rather than extravagant spending in some way...

amount levels: Premium ($30,000)l; President's Circle ($60,000); Founders ($100,000)

maybe I'll by a Honda for my next car. I didn't see them on the list. WalMart is not on the list ... I'm a little surprised.

The CFR website (http://www.cfr.org/) and their magazine, Foreign Affairs (http://www.foreignaffairs.com/), is pretty open about what they talk about. Just boring as hell though. lol

The question is: How do get on the Board of Directors?

It's not just a matter of paying 30k to be a member:

Luckily for them, the plebs don't read this stuff and their activities are not spoon fed to them on the news:

"We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promise of discretion for almost forty years... It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto determination practiced in past centuries."

The CFR mission statement says that the CFR does not take government funds. On the other hand the CFR does take funds from corporations funded by the government. Directly or indirectly funds flow to the CFR from government sources. An audit of the Fed should clear this up one way or the other.

Also: The trillions of dollars the Fed is printing and secretly dispersing around has a purpose. The question I have is: Who is getting the money and what is it used for?

Corporations pay a membership fee to join the CFR. Auditing the Federal Reserve will reveal which corporations are getting the bailout money. One thing we'll probably find out is that the Corporations receiving the bailout money are CFR corporations.
