August 20th is Ron's birthday. What a birthday present it would be to launch his son into the KY Senate as a "viable" candidate? If you haven't already, please go to http://www.runrandrun.com and pledge to donate on the 20th. Also, please get at least 1 other friend to do the same.

Rand is dedicated to winning this race. From Rand himself:

Government continues to destabilize our economy and confiscate our wealth. Times are difficult for many of us. But this is precisely why we can't afford to send more of the same to Washington. To begin restoring prosperity and freedom to our country, we need to elect people who will defend the Constitution against any kind of political pressure. It would be my honor to represent you in the United States Senate. This is a victory we can achieve together for the liberty movement.

This is a race we can win, and I mean to win it!

Thank you for your support,

Rand Paul
Rand Paul for US Senate Exploratory Committee

Please pledge at www.RunRandRun.com (http://www.runrandrun.com)

Also, if you have already maxed out or are looking to help out his campaign in a more specific way, I am heading a volunteer effort in northern KY next week. We will be knocking on doors, hanging signs, and making phone calls to Republicans in the area. Some volunteers are unable to pay for their lodging, so I am using my personal funds to cover the costs. I am also using my own money to purchase literature and sign making material. We could really use some financial help! I will be providing full transparency of how the funds are spent. Also, any unused money will either be donated to Rand's campaign for the moneybomb on the 20th, or returned to the original donor. Please specify this if you donate.

I haven't pledged because I will not be able to donate $100 dollars to the campaign. I will only be able to donate $25

There are a lot of people in your position, which means that the actual total donation will be higher than number of pledges x $100.

This is a good thing. :)

I pledged but I haven't promoted it at all yet.

When it gets to be about one week before I'll send out emails to my mailing lists, meetup groups, post on facebook, post on other forums, etc.
