CQ Politics (http://innovation.cqpolitics.com/media/votestudy2009/) has a very interesting interactive tool to examine how each member of Congress and Senate have voted this year which has been VERY enlightening. I was shocked that Ron Paul has voted for Obama stuff 15% of the time and the with the Republicans 87%. While Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) has only voted 12% of the time with Obama and with the Republicans 99% of the time!

Is this supposed to be an attack on Ron Paul? It's a pretty weak one.

Not surprising considering RP is a libertarian and votes more in favor of socially liberal policies.

On the visual chart at the bottom, we can look at who the closest Reps are to Ron Paul's voting record....

John Culberson (R-TX)
John Carter (R-TX)
Ed Royce (R-CA)
John Linder (R-GA)
Michael Burgess (R-TX)
Tom McClintock (R-CA)
Geoff Davis (R-KY)
Frank Lucas (R-OK)
Jeff Flake (R-AZ)

It's probably worth mentioning the headline too...

Ron Paul Supports Obama’s Agenda More Than Marsha Blackburn
Ron doesn't support anyone's agenda he supports the constitution, so what if Obama just so happens to sticks to the constitution 15% of the time(when he actually voted). If anything this should look negatively on Marsha Blackburn.

notice the clever wording?

Ron votes with Barry, implying it's Barry's idea and Barry's leading.

If it was reworded, Barry votes with Ron 15% of the time, and the other 87% of the time, the rest of the Republicans vote with Ron. How would that sound?

It should say, "Barack Obama violates the Constitution 85% of the time"

In other words: Obama voted correctly 15% of the time
and incorrectly 85% of the time.

What that 15% represents:

"The frequency with which lawmakers vote with the president when he clearly indicates his preferences (Presidential Support). "

so he's not voting with Obama.

What's more telling is that there are only 12 representatives who support the president LESS than Paul!
