COLUMBUS (AP) — A suburban Columbus man has pleaded guilty to two counts of compelling prostitution after investigators say he recommended a 17-year-old prostitute on a Web site.

Police say Robert McFadden, 46, of Dublin also used the Internet last September and October to recommend or warn against certain prostitutes and to offer suggestions on how to avoid arrest.

He entered his pleas today in Franklin County Common Pleas Court and faces up to 10 years in prison when sentenced Aug. 20.

McFadden formerly served as director of the Faith-Based and Community Initiatives office under Gov. Ted Strickland. He was transferred to the state prisons department in 2007 and laid off in March 2008 due to budget cuts.

Defense attorney Keith Golden notes that McFadden is not accused of having sex with the girl.

Yet more proof of our goddamn ass-backwards policy on Age of Consent as well as Prostitution. This man could get 10 years in Pound-me-in-the-Ass Prison for not even doing anything except excercising his 1st Amendment rights. This crap makes me sick. Who fucking cares if a man (or maybe even a she-male) wants to pay someone else to suck their dick? Furthermore, at 17 you are old enough to be sent to some shithole 3rd World country and get your head blown off. But goddamn, a 17 year old can't lay down and spread her legs for cash by her own choice cause its unseemly.

Ten years for pandering? Just damn.

Lol at the former 'State Director of the Faith-Based and Community Initiatives', though. So, the bureaucrat wants to share the wealth with the poor, how nice. Of course, the poor must bend over and spread first...

And as for the issue of a state honcho screwing the underaged--why not? The federal borrow-and-spenders have been screwing even those not yet conceived with their fiscal irresponsibility.

Proves one thing: Don't ever say or post anything you wouldn't say/do in front of a cop.

The more obvious question: if you can't trust the man's advice on how to avoid arrest, why should you trust his advice on prostitutes?

This is probably the scariest thing of all.

This guy wasn't caught in a motel room banging a 17 year old hooker, he was busted for posting stuff on a website. That's fucked up.
