Sent this out this morning after I made the connection reading Sotomayor's background and history on Wiki. Just thought some of the history nuts{like me} would find it interesting seeing that Obama was supposed to be the "Change" guy everyone was talking about. This is about as close to dynasty appointment as it gets, as the Morgathau's go back to the early 1900s in the Democrat Party.

::
Sonia Sotomayor was hired early in her career by Robert Morganthau a New York DA and son of former Treasury Secretary to FDR, Henry Morgathau Jr. the architect of the New Deal and the guy who claimed it failed. Henry Morganthau Sr. was in with the Democrats and progressive Woodrow Wilson, he was financial chair of the Democrat party..

Henry Morgathau Jr.s words on May 9th, 1939 in front of the House Ways and Means Committee of the United States Congress... From Burton Folsom Jr.s book New Deal Or Raw Deal.
"We have tried spending money. We are spending more money than we have ever spent before(1) and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and if I'm wrong... somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good our promises.... I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started.... And an enormous debt to boot."

It's a small world and the deck is stacked against the American Taxpayer.

I always look to see who someone knows and where they are from, then I look for the money.
