Looks like we raised 125,000 or just short of it today. Pretty impressive! Lets keep this up and maybe accelerate the donations.

Message over at the Facebook group from Jeff Frazee, National Youth Coordinator:

"Here at the campaign HQ we are about to hit $125k raised for the day. We are about $1,300 short. We need to raise this amount in 5 minutes!!!"

UPDATE from Frazee:

"Here's the total for today: $123,942"

"Yes, Mitch, a live count like the "fill the quill campaign" should be up tonight. If not, tomorrow morning."

"Although, I'm almost certain we reached $125k just after midnight. So if your clock is a little slow then you can say $125k in one day."

So just shy of $125,000 and there will be a live count soon!

Nice! I'm trying to add up what I've donated so far, I'm almost at my limit, but I think I still have a few hundred I can throw in.

Yep, I think that will encourage more donations and will be a lot more exciting.

Before Thursday? We'll make $300,000 by midnight tomorrow Pacific time, bet on that.

I sure the hell hope so. AND If we could sustain that kind of momentum we might just reach a mil.

If everyone will remake what they've contributed(I'm talking about small donors) then it just may be sustainable.

I will bet you $250 we do not make $300,000 by midnight tomorrow.

IF I WIN, you donate $250 and I will donate $250. If you win, I will donate $400!!!!

YOU IN??

All we have to do is look at the money Hillary and Obama are collecting (and can use in the general election) to know that we can and MUST do more.

Regarding the $2,300 limit, I have a dilemna. I will surely hit the limit eventually. The question is, do I go all in now, then have no room left for the next couple of quarters, or pace my donations?

So far, I'm leaving some "room" for future donations (not sure where my total is at, but I believe its still shy of $2,000 to the national campaign). My donations have all been small, less than $200 a pop.

What are you folks who are getting close doing- going all in, or spreading it out?

Go all in. As far as I understand, high Q3 numbers will improve Paul's standing with the media in and of themselves, even before he begins to spend.

Q3 is important, Q4 will come out almost too late to make a difference in the pschological factor. I would say go all in - it will encourage others who would otherwise think "Ron Paul has no chance" to go in after seeing great Q3 results.

Also, did you know you can also put another $2300 toward the presidential election that will be returned to you if Ron Paul won't get the nomination or doesn't run 3rd party (I think normal donations get counted for primary election)? And that next year January you can donate again? At least that is what I've been told.

In any case, thank you for donating toward the future of our country.

If we buy from the 2008store does it add to this donation push?
