On July 10, 2009 the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled that military-style checkpoints are UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!

It also violates the second amendment as they are doing this for the sole reason to disarm the public.

"Officers could not conduct a search of a stopped vehicle unless individualized suspicion developed during a stop."

A cop could falsify any probable cause during the long interrogation permitted by this policy. Very good that it was invalidated.

Other than this^, I'll say that the ruling must have been a mistake...

We did not need a court ruling to determine that it was unconstitutional! Prima facie anyone?
