I've started a musical project mostly in the IDM/dance/electronica genres to spread the message of Austrian economics and libertarianism. I describe the sound as Ludwig von Mises dj'ing at a rave, or perhaps Aphex Twin managing the speaker system at a Ron Paul rally. :P

Check it out if you're interested. :)

(New songs are uploaded sporadically. I seem to be working on an every several days basis as far as finishing new songs, so check back frequently.)

I've never been much of a fan of musique concrete, but I'm glad you found a productive hobby. :)

Not bad. It's been a looong while since I messed around making my own music on Studio Pro, Acid, etc.. I like your style but you need to "polish" it out some. For example, the scratching on "Law of the Jungle" is completely unnecessary and stands out too much from the rest of the song.

Thanks for the compliment and the advice. I'd been wondering whether that reverberated "scratchy" background beat on LotJ was too distracting myself. I'll try uploading a version without it here sometime soon. I kept some of the hissing behind the Bush clips in Janus for a grittier effect, but I've been having second thoughts about that too. What's your opinion?

is that a digital scratch? didn't sound like a turntable? sounded like the scratch had to many mids and lows in it. I find adjusting the low and mids makes the scratching smoother and less invasive when on tables, never tried a digital scratch on acid or fruity loops.
