I am - as of today.

That's why, I have created this:
http://ronpaul2008.chipin.com

PACs are allowed to contribute $5,000 per election cycle to federal candidates. If you're maxed out, donate to Americans United for Freedom PAC and the PAC will cut a $5,000 check to the Ron Paul 2008 PCC. It's a simple, yet legal way to get around contribution limits.

Yup, this is correct. Maxed out donors who can afford it, donate to the PAC's out there and get more money to Ron Paul that can be used in the primaries.

How can anyone verify this is legit?

Nice job! Money is critical to this campaign and speaks very loudly.

skiingff has been a regular poster here and currently organizes OperationNH.com (http://www.operationnh.com). He's also running some sort of national commercial week in conjunction with 15+ meetup groups.

Beyond that, I'm sure some level of proof can be provided, but I mean it's the internet and getting in touch with the campaign is hard. Still though. :o

I dunno, call me. 304-237-5349. Call the FEC. Of course, check the FEC records of an "Americans United for Freedom PAC" donating $5,000 to Ron Paul in a couple weeks.

Again, I'm pretty easy to track down, everyone in the world knows my cell phone # already and it hasn't been changed for 3 years since I got it. Again, I've given $2,300 to the campaign and THOUSANDS to purchase TV airtime and produce commercials. Also, anyone in the military can look me up in the AKO white pages ;) When you're in the military, it's kind of hard to use an alias or "get lost."

Anyways, believe what you wish, but I have no need to take anyone's money if that's what you're implying. I'm trying to help Ron Paul. If I was a con artist, I really wouldn't be trolling these forums 24/7/365 and know more about Ron Paul than half the people on here. And participate in intellectual debate. LOL.

Peace.

Just curious:

For the $5k limit, does your PAC meet the "multicandidate committee" requirements in footnote 4 of this FEC page?
http://www.fec.gov/pages/brochures/contriblimits.shtml#fn2

(4) A multicandidate committee is a political committee with more than 50 contributors which has been registered for at least 6 months and, with the exception of state party committees, has made contributions to 5 or more candidates for federal office

I never implied that you needed to take anyone's money or anything else of that sort, I simply wanted to know if there was a way to verify that the PAC is registered and legally legitimate. Some people like to verify these things if possible before handing out the cash. I was simply asking, not making any implications or jumping to any conclusions.

I've maxed out. I bought from the online store today a bunch of buttons and a tshirt. That's the last my budget will allow. We need to make a huge showing by the end of this quarter. Do everything you can! The campaign is only getting bigger and stronger!

Can non-US citizens donate to the PAC?

If they are permanent resident green card holders...YES definitely! They just can't vote.

There are plenty of legal residents that suffered from US interventionist policies or harbor resentment still.

That would be a good chunk of Latin Americans. Many Latin American immigrants who come here legally are also mad about the illegal immigration. We have got to get those 30-60%.

I emailed the Ron Paul campaign several times offering to translate the website for them, but I received no answer. For 2 years I worked here in Tijuana as a translator for Maquiladora firms, so the translation would be a quality one.
