The whole Michael Jackson thing is out of control. Now the calls for investigation of and severe penalties for Michael Jackson's doctors is reaching a crescendo. It's getting ridiculous.

- Where is the personal responsibility?

- Where is the even handed enforcement of law? Any common person dies, and there would probably be no investigation, let alone criminal prosecution of doctors. Different rules for different classes?

- Are doctors criminally responsible for malpractice? Especially when a person uses multiple doctors, aliases and drugs?

It's everybody but poor Michael's fault.

MJ was just a victim in all of this being enabled by them evil doctors who only care about money.

His doctor was with him when he died. If CRP doesn't work, what are you going to do?

As a taxpayer, do you want your money spent on this? Closing freeways, Arena funerals, multiple investigations and court costs?

If we had government oversight through national healthcare and a centralized system for maintaining this information, this never would have happened...

Lol! Yeah, what a joke that crap is. Like a computer system will solve it. MJ would still have 10 aliases, and he would just use doctors who were a little under the radar...

While an ultra-secure computer system might make some things easier, it opens a whole can of worms on privacy. Plus, how will the info in the system be accurate? If people don't use or update the databases, it's worthless. Garbage in, garbage out. As far as costs, a small group of good programmers could do the entire thing for next to nothing. But the government will spend a trillion on it, and most of that money will go to India.

I'm still suspicious that the coverage of this is designed to distract us from the ne'er-do-wells who are destroying America. (JMHO)
