Dean Barkley Independence Party got 437,505 votes.

Wonder if Coleman didn't piss off so many RP supporters before the election and acknowledged our contribution to the party...maybe he could have received those 300+ extra votes he needed to win?

People would give the GOP a lot of slack for electing celebrities ... (ie: Regan, Arnold, Kemp)

I give Franken credit. It's pretty easy for an exceptionally well known and wealthy person to sit around and complain about how they think things should be. Franken joins the ranks of those willing to put their own reputation on the line to make that happen.

Of course, I'd've rather him lost the election.

Coleman would've received the 300 needed had he just voted against TARP. 20 to 1 constituents were begging him to vote it down. He listened to his bank lobbying masters instead.
