How do we go from not being a Christian nation to being according to Obama one of the worlds largest Muslim nations, to the point a Patriot Rally honoring God and Country is refused a fly over for the first time in 42 years because the event is "too Christian" according to pentagon officials?

Obama's Anti-Christ horns are sprouting for the entire world to see, that is if they are not caught up in the smoke and mirror act he has conjoured to disguise his agenda to bring America to it's knees before him.

The event is held ever year to honor the spiritual foundations of our country with a special emphasis on the men and women who serve in the armed forces.

In past years, the "God and Country Rally" has focused on honoring and paying tribute to those veterans who have served our nation in the past and those who are currently on active duty.

At the rally this year, all five branches of the armed services were featured with over 60 new recruits sworn into the military at the event.

I suppose it's not politically correct anymore. I'd buy their argument if they had said too religious, going on the whole seperation of Church and State thing, but the fact still remains that I believe the pentagon would have done it if it had been a Muslim rally.

Isn't a flyover request just a big waste of money for a ritual? They didn't get taxpayer loot to add some bang to their spiritual rally? Sounds good to me.

But its OK to fly Obama and his wife to NY for dinner and a play, along with the entourage of secret service personell to boot...

We are talking about a Patriot rally honoring past and present service members during the 4th of July while 60 new recruits where being sworn in. When the day arrives when God and country are not honored by our commander in chief then America as we know it has just taken a back seat for the dark vision Obama has for America...

I don't think Kraig really meant to disparage veterans. He may not even know he did so. It's just that, depending on your view of anarchy, you might find that he has an even darker vision for America. ;)

But, no, he won't be applauding Air Force One any time soon.

Flyovers with military fighters are very expensive. Maybe eliminate all jet flyovers and just use RC mock-ups instead.

Yeah but the dinners are wrong too, two wrongs do not make a right.

Fly overs are expensive, I am not debating that, but to use a lame excuse of expense during a patriot event celebrating veterans and current soldiers is lame.

If there had been a prior objective to halt them all together then there would be no debate, but to pick and choose when to and when to not allow them like this is a sham, and anyone arguing for this sham have been dooped by it as well IMO.

Either you have a policy that halts them or not, but to pick and choose like this is BS. Besides how much does the government spend on advertising for people to recruit, flyovers play just as much of an integral role in this advertising campaign as a commercial paying off media outlets, in this case who gets paid but the service members?

Honoring America, Patriotism, God and country our current and former soldiers in keeping with tradition is not an expense its an obligation, when we refuse to be obligated to our traditions we better stop and see what current traditions are being alligned in their place, and at the rate of change taking place it is not hard to see how socialism being run by anticonservative leaders are endeavoring to place a higher enphasis on Gay pride than Patriot pride.

Again I know it is expensive, but loosing our priceless tradition's and ability to celebrate Liberty, Freedom God and Country with Pomp and valour for the current one's aiming to be instilled in their place are even more expensive IMO.

You know I don't have a problem with honoring veterans, but can't we get back to the origin of Independence Day, and celebrate our separation from Britain because of our belief that the King's rule was tyrranical? It has zip to do with fly-overs, fireworks or hot-dogs for that matter. I'm not even against those, but the first thing I did at our picnic was recite the entire Declaration of Independence including our grievances against King George.

If your "priceless traditions" are so valuable to you, pay for them yourself and stop making me pay for them.

If your "priceless traditions" are so valuable to you, pay for them yourself and stop making me pay for them.

Again what you fail to realize is how you will be paying for are new traditions such as healthcare for the 10 million people who are uninsured, higher energy costs that force us to be industrially uncompetetive with the world, a government that is growing exponentually as we speak in order to take more control over your life.

Yes the traditions you are bent out of shape in regards to sponsoring a flyover for are in celebration of not having had the traditions coming down the pipe to be crambed down our throats.

A flyover for a patriotic rally is a tick tack that leaves a fresh taste in your mouth, compared to the weight of the pill the new goverment is about to make you swallow, it will not only leave the taste of crap in your mouth, but it will manage to take the zest out of life.

Thing is 'to each according to his ability to each according to his need' is an ideology that puts the breaks on a societies heartfelt motivation, especially when your leader is a liar and weasle. Where is the motivation in pouring your heart out, when your reward in the end will only be what you need, and what do we really need really besides food water and shelter?

yes this is the traditions we are on the verge of embracing in place of the ones we refused to commit to when we had the priceless opportunity to do so. You may not want to pay now, but you will wish you did later when you get the bill for not paying. Make no mistake you are about to pay, you and me both.

No, I realize that quite well actually. You don't seem to realize that being forced at gunpoint to pay for a patriotic flyover is never going to leave a fresh taste in my mouth, no matter how bad the other stuff is. It's a small piece of shit in my mouth vs. a big piece of shit in my mouth.

It's just more evidence that America has devolved into a secular humanist nation, and our President is the epitome of such a condition. It's too bad that humanism has crept into our armed forces, as well. When God is removed from public affairs, it is always replaced with the State.

So when did the USA have god and when was god replaced by the state?

It's funny when you're not the one with shit in your mouth. Sorry but I find your only response, after supporting theft against me, and then after I point out that yes it is theft, being "that was funny" quite insulting.
