It won't matter if NY Congressman Peter King was in pockets of Israel lobby or not, Michael Jacksons fans are just so many.

Michael Jackson Fans Raise Money To Defeat Peter King

There is, it turns out, a political price to pay when you make bold statements calling out Michael Jackson for some of the nefarious moments of his personal history.

Fans of Jackson are mobilizing to raise money for an opponent -- any opponent -- to run against Rep. Pete King, R-N.Y., following the critical remarks the congressman made about the recently deceased pop icon.

Over the weekend, King said that the media had gone far over the top in glorifying Jackson, who he deemed a "low-life" pervert who "may have been a good singer" and "did some dancing."

Now, an ActBlue fundraising site has been set up by "A fan of Michael Jackson" titled "Michael Jackson Fans AGAINST Peter King (http://www.actblue.com/page/jacksonfansagainstking)."

"Peter King ought to let Jackson rest in peace, and focus on the needs of his constituents. As we mourn the loss of an American legend, political grandstanding is not what we need right now!" the page reads. "Fans of Michael Jackson and his legacy stand united against Peter King's hateful words. Please donate here to show Peter King that true MJ fans won't stand for the smearing of a pop sensation!"

Dems seems to have no candidate there so far, is there any good Libertarian candidates there? Anyone from NY?

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=New+York%27s+3rd+district+Ron+Paul&btnG=Search

Quick google search showed no Ron Paul candidates in NY's 3rd district, what is wrong with this district.

Seems like he it it right on.

Looks like he's gonna get hit right on too LOL

So is politics in America, money makes it go. It remains to be seen how much money thay can raise but it would be interesting as Peter King's lobbies are light on cash these days. But Israel lobby probably not going to let him get kicked out without a fight, Peter King mobilizing site had already been setup:

http://capwiz.com/aipac/bio/?id=406.

And he does seem to have a talent to lie with a straight face as he glorifies a violent situation that probably killed/injured hundreds of thousands of children:

Anyone caught the Freudian slip at 1:43 "Israeli .. err Iraqi security forces are being trained" LOL

The media told us he was a pedo. None of us know him. He was acquitted.

The hypocrisy for participating in the same things we accuse the "Sheep" of... its amusing.

If I had a ferris wheel in my backyard and regular sleepovers with kids.......

Or if I had a pet chimp and called my home neverland....

You'd think I was trying to fuck kids.

Ya, let's worship our tax feeders while turn our backs on true capitalist.
Sounds about right to me!

(Though, honest cops, firefighters, and others do deserve respect - but so does non-tax feeders with dangerous jobs)

The 10 most dangerous jobs
Occupation Fatalities per 100,000
Timber cutters....................117.8
Fishers...............................71.1
Pilots and navigators...........69.8
Structural metal workers.....58.2
Drivers-sales workers..........37.9
Roofers..............................37
Electrical power installers...32.5
Farm occupations...............28
Construction laborers..........27.7
Truck drivers......................25

ps. Michael donated hundreds of millions of dollars to charity, how much did the King donate?

Don't know. But I had read somewhere that he was donating to Rudy Giuliani if that counts as a charitable cause.

No, I would think you had your childhood taken away from you by an overbearing parent, and acted like a ten year old the rest of your life because of it.

He was mentally damaged, no doubt. I honestly dont believe he touched kids. Our society however has told us that if you are rich and famous you must act a certain way, and if you dont- youre obviously a pedophile, a terrorist, a wierdo, a kook, or a loon.

Dont get me wrong, I wouldnt send my kids around him. Its just that I think he was unstable, I don't think he was a predator- and he was acquitted.

you would think that a congressman would have at least enough common sense to realize that attacking the coverage of MJ as "overboard" is more politically intelligent than attacking him for being a pedophile...

He settled out of court for the first accusation.
And this guy was acquitted as well:

Comgressman needs to look in the mirror. He's no friend of children if he glorifies violence that probably killed/injured hundreds of thousands of children as "as stable as Manhattan".

If he gets kicked out, will be a good things for liberty. Would be great if a Libertarian candidate can get in there and eke out a win in a three way race.

True. If one person settles or is acquitted and probably did it, then most people accused of crimes are probably guilty.

That sounds like a reasonable view.

Yea he was an eccentric and natural progression given how he was groomed in a shell of music perfrmances from such an early age and how his fame and world following took off.

There is a theroy that creative arts peoples eccentricity is often directly proprtional to their success in their art and that's probably not baseless.

Peter King should be ousted. In the short few things just posted here, I think I'm already convinced this guy is complete scum. A man who opposes due process for conviction should not be allowed as a public official on any level. Calling Jackson a pedophile makes me sick. I remember having to argue a few times with people about this. No matter how irritating Jackson was, he was found innocent and that is how he should be treated. I do love the irony of the mainstream media pointing fingers at King for such a remark, when they pushed the same crap a few years back. Nevermind all the jackson-pedophile humor they present in their movies and on TV. Nonetheless, King is right about the media's obsessive cling to Jackson and Jackson's strange personal life.

I really don't see how you can change anything through voting when so many people are willing to vote solely based on this type of garbage. People vote to try and get what they want, there is nothing just or good about it.

If that many people were willing to vote based solely on this type of garbage, these particular people wouldn't be pooling their money to buy campaign commercials. They'd just all vote against the moron and save their money, wouldn't they?

I'm willing to give anyone the benefit of doubt once or twice. But how many times has that guy been accused? Kind of forms a pattern....

We all know "justice" is corrupt and can be bought via good enough lie-ers - er lawyers...

Jackson: "I have slept in a bed with many children". Sorry, if you don't want to be accused of child molestation don't sleep in the same bed with small boys. Apparently we're also to believe that he never had surgery on his face, and that he has such a case of vitiligo that his kids (which he supposedly had himself) are white. I guess it's just a coincidence that the one major celebrity who attracts all these abuse allegations is the one that sleeps with little kids.

He's about as innocent as OJ.
