When I checked last night right before midnight his little tab was right at 20k, right now 5:17 eastern it is showing about 38k.

We are good for little $20,000 bombs so these candidates can get out and do the dirty work of getting local support. It is not like the old days but very needed for these candidates to have any chance of winning.

If any of these candidates make it out of their primary, we will see these $ totals increase a lot. Because then you will have the party behind them.

I think someone like Kokesh should run independent, or try to get whatever 3rd party nomination is on the ballot there, if he can't get the GOP nomination.

$40k now (total)

it will likely finish between 50k - 80k (which means 30k - 60k today)

For a year out from the primary (if he even has any competition for it), this is very good.

If the Republicans were smart, they'd let him at least run to build a base with the huge amount of money he will bring in.

Raising anything over $1000 in one day during this depression is pretty remarkable in my view, especially for a congressional candidate during a non-presidential election cycle.

I can't wait to see how many individual donors contributed today. That will speak more than any dollar amount.

Kokesh said he had some sort of big announcement planned for tonight.

Hopefully that's worthy of a good press release headline :cool:

I'm thinking he's going to announce that the exploratory committee phase is over and he's launching a full campaign.
