i dont have the internet, so ive been pretty out of the loop lately, but does anyone else find it kind of strange that two of the top "2012 republican nominee hopefulls" have either completely destroyed their careers or resigned, within a month of each other?

toss in new york's governor paterson, and you have a local legislature having its bit in the teeth, you sorta wonder why the open season on sitting governors... for although a true blue new deal democrat, its them there three or five patronage aspected albany hacks who are party democrats
who are trying to unseat poor paterson, so as to gain for their quarreling selves the governor's mansion and all that job aspected ability to make appointments... toss in illinois consternation and confusion, and we have FOUR governorships in a situation of distress. two beleagered republicans
and two beleagered democrats thusly and these political footballs... someone is into hardball and grudge-matches or is into greed...
