The Independent Greens of Virginia have 27 nominated/endorsed candidates for house of delegates confirmed by Virginia State Board of Elections on the ballot November 3rd. 100 members of the House of Delegates will be elected November 3rd.

Virginia 's common sense Indy Greens advocate "More Candidates, Less Apathy". They started in the early 1990's a local group of Independent Green Reformers working with Ross Perot, and local Green Party affiliates. During most years the Indy Greens put multiple candidates on the ballot local, state and federal office. In 2002 Virginia's Independent Greens became a state party.

Most Indy Greens as in previous years will be on the ballot as Independents to emphasize independence. This year's candidate list:
7 will appear on ballot as Indy Greens. 3 additional Indy Greens will appear on ballot as Independents.
3 will be on ballot as Constitution Party (Indy Greens members & allies for years), 1 will be on ballot as Green Party, and the rest as Independents.

Indy Green nominated/endorsed Independents are from across the Commonwealth of Virgina. From Northern Virginia to Virginia Beach on the eastern shore to Blacksburg and Winchester on the West Virginia border voters will have an Indy option on the ballot.

As usual Independent Greens offered every third party and Independent our nomination, and endorsement - except where they already had a IG candidates in the 37th and 39th. The Independent Greens were founded as "values conservative" inclusive party that would bring together independents, greens, constitutionalist, and libertarians in unity.

For the third year in a row, two Independent Greens withdrew as candidates, in order endorse a Green Party candidate for House of Delegates, and another Green for Board of Supervisors in Arlington.

Please surf www.VoteJoinRun.US to see full IG candidate list updated today.

Indy Greens advocate "More Trains, Less Traffic" to create Virginia jobs. Make Virginia safer and more secure. Grow the economy, protect Virginia resources.

Virginia's Independent Greens have helped reduce the unopposed House of Delegates races to 29 this year. It's down from 51 in (2007), 59 in 2005. This is a great victory for Indy/Indy Greens across Virginia!

The Independent Greens of Virginia are an affiliate of Jesse Ventura's Independence Party of Minnesota, and Michael Bloomberg's Independence Party of New York.

Indy Greens support Michael Bloomberg's building America's future to rebuild the nation's infrastructure, and rail.

The Indy Greens were the first state party in the nation to endorse T. Boone Pickens Plan for building Rail, Solar, Wind, Geothermal power to cut dependence on foreign oil, and save American lives.
