And only 5 months in. I guess the honeymoon is officially over.

Unless the economy does a U-turn, it's gonna keep sinking. Three years from now he can't keep saying he inherited these problems.

Looks like it ended well over three months ago.

Sample size is too low for these small moves to mean much of anything, IMO.

How many hired guns again? KBR? Blackwater? Covert jackboot Mercs?

Yeah the troops pulled back to Baghdad Bunkers, Permanent Military Bases, Circling the Troops from the Little Big Horn Terrorists.

I find those poll to be a farce... there was something like 60-70% of independents approved of Barry? YEAH, RIGHT...

Don't forget the US has built the largest and most expensive embassy (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,476464,00.html) in the entire world in Bagdhad, Iraq. The cost was 700 million USD and it's the size of 80 football fields and cost 1 billion US taxpayer dollars per year to operate. If that isn't occupation I don't know what is.

I was charged with being a conspiracy theorist when I knew that we were staying despite the lies of mission accomplished, as well as with the bait and switch in Afghanastan. All you have to have is a few brain cells that aren't preprogrammed by talking heads to figure that one out.

I like how Obama is handling everything. I enjoy watching these wars and spending money. Myself I usually go out and start fights with my neighbors and have bought a crap ton of stuff that I'm never going to be able to repay. But who cares right? I'm going to die one day so why worry! :)

Thats easy to do when 75% of media coverage is positive.

They should poll the entire government's approval rating and not use a figurehead as a scapegoat. Approval ratings for one person is just an excuse to replace one thug with another if the villagers get too upset, it's not like Obama could do anything on is own, approval ratings for one person is pointless.

While I suppose its good news, the method Rasmussen is using is pretty dubious. Comparing those who strongly oppose him to those who strongly support him doesn't paint anywhere near a full picture.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_obama_job_approval-1044.html

While Rasmussen shows he has about 30% strongly disapproving of him, this is pretty much the average total for all of those who disapprove of him (disapprove plus strongly disapprove.) This leaves about 60% in the support column, and while their enthusiasm appears to be dimming, its not really translating to people opposing him, yet. In fact, the growth in strong disapproval is most likely from people who only disapproved of him before, not supporters.
