There is no area in which Republicans have further strayed from our traditions than in foreign affairs.

Generations of conservatives followed the great advice of our Founding Fathers and pursued a restrained foreign policy that rebuffed entangling alliances and advised America, in the words of John Quincy Adams, not to "go abroad looking for dragons to slay."

Anyone think Paul is looking for dragons to slay by posting an article about non-interventionism in a den of neo-cons?

No, just giving some non-enlightened people some enlightenment.

I'm not a fan of Taft, but it's good that RP is going for the jugular. :);)

More than others, the neo-cons need to hear Dr. Paul.

Like Jesus said, "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." (Luke 5:32)

"Neoconservatives who have come to power in both the Democratic and Republican parties..."

How often do you see that line printed in a major paper? :)

EDIT: Anyone know if this is both printed and online, or only online?

Both.

Our Web site includes all of the original content from the daily printed version of The Washington Times plus original content produced for online users. The site is updated around the clock with breaking news from the Associated Press and United Press International.

Hmm.

As much as I might agree with Paul on theory, in fact it sucks to be the world's only superpower in the 21st Century. But fear not, hussein is working furiously to change that. Currently they want to kill us. We refuse to protect our borders. It is simple to jump through rings of security and attack on US soil. We are for sale to any bidder, not necessarily the highest bidder. We are still the world's only superpower and must act accordingly.

We're Superman, so we have to save the world.

Our expansive presence abroad affords us a distinct advantage is pursuing trade, diplomacy, and in maintaining a security situation favorable to ourselves and our allies (who are also important in making sure that America gets what America needs). All of this translates into higher paychecks for Americans, more Americans owning cars, softer toilet paper in American bathrooms... the list goes on

Hahahahahaha. Man, I'd love to debate this eVick guy.
