As a Michigan resident, this really pisses me off.. A state can't balance a budget these days? The only solution is increased taxes?? belch.

pa did this not long ago. Lasted a day. Our stupid governor wouldn't sign off on the budget until one of his pet projects was funded. Hopefully everyone remembers that day come election day.

God knows such a tax increase would never come about here in Alabama in this point in time. Hell it would not even be considered.

Nearly happened here in Illinois because our cry baby govenor Blagoiavech wouldn't sign ANY budget into law that did not include his health care plan that would have increased taxes on businesses in Illinois by bout 5 billion dollars a year. We went for a month on an emergency budget and then another month on no budget at all.
