Title pretty much says it all. The larger we grow, the larger the threat and the more desperate the enemies of the revolution will become. If it comes to it, and you are in the position to save Ron Paul, would you?

No, but I would donate a bulletproof vest.

No. But I'd take out my shotgun and shoot the attacker before he shot Dr. Paul.

It's a hard one, but your sacrifice would not be in vain because you would be saving the future of your friends, neighbords, and future generations of the grand ole USA.

I like to think I would, but I guess it's one of those things you never know about for sure until it happens. The idea of dying for a purpose after living a life that has been pretty much wasted does have a certain appeal.

Yes, I've been shot, it hurts but is not always fatal.
I am still hoping for a peaceful revolution, but am preparing for other options.
Ron Paul is worth the effort and risk.

Ron Paul is a rugged individualist. He wouldn't want me to.

Though I think it would stifle his campaign, I'd like to rent the Pope-mobile and it's bullet proof bubble for the campaign.

We certainly are dedicated LOL, how many people would take a bullet for Rudy? Romney? McCain? Thompson?

NO WAY

He doesn't seem to worry about it. I believe he is a man of Faith. That in itself sets him apart from the pack.

But I would take a bullet for the message - LIBERTY, remember, he's a courageous tremendous, principled individual, but it's the message he expouses that we support. There will come a time when he is gone, and we will have to fight on for the message and the belief that personal liberty trumps all, including our collective security.

I'd like to think that I would, but one never really knows.

I do know one thing, though...anyone who tries to hurt Ron Paul will be ripped to pieces before he knows what happened.

I'd like to think that I would, but one never really knows.

That's the exact phrase I was going to use.
I'm pretty sure I would take a bullet for Ron Paul, knowing that I am protecting the man and the message of liberty.

I hate to think of how the media would spin it though.

Exactly Skilt...

I would take a bullet for the ideals that RP represents. If RP is our only last great hope for those, then yes I would for him. After seeing the amount and enthusiasm of his supporters, whether he wins or not, this REVOLUTION will carry itself on for at least another generation. I think next campaign season we'll start to see serious people running for office under RP's battle cry.

I wouldn't take a bullet to save his life, but I would take a bullet if I was assured that he would be made President and get everything done that he wants to.

I might take a bullet to get him elected, and you'd all owe me :)

I think the better question is....

if something ever did happen to Ron Paul like getting shot, would you stay sitting in the comfort of your home hoping someone else would come along one day to take his place or would it make you rise up, join together with others and finally take back our country the way our forefathers did. Bloodshed be damned.

In this matrix, the power of millions of like minded individuals can change the course of programed futures and keep Paul safe. Just be tuned in and on all the time.

sure, but i'd take it on the shoulder or or thigh or something more likely to allow a pretty good recovery. honestly, if i could protect him (or just about any of us here, friends, family, etc.), i'd like to think i would

If the occasion would ever to arise I sure would. Ron Paul and the message of liberty is much bigger then me, and right now I feel we need HIM to lead this charge.

Of course Ron Paul isnt really a threat until he wins the primaries, then maybe.

What there doing right now is herding the Sheeple to choose between the big Govt Democrats or the Big Govt Republicans, either way the end result will be Big Govt.

I wouldnt take a bullet for him personally because im selfish that way. Ill tell you one thing though, if he got shot I guarantee there would be alot more politicians to get picked off soon after that.

Cant think of a better way to die myself, that and dying while having sex is a close second though ;)

Not only is The Collins our in house celebrity ativist, he's a prophet. His prediction on 9/24/2007. Pretty impressive.

I voted No. I think if I were a guy, I would vote yes though. Girls shouldn't take bullets for guys. That's just weird.

One more reason Ayn Rand was weird?

PLAYBOY (http://www.ellensplace.net/ar_pboy.html): Would it be against the principles of Objectivism for anyone to sacrifice himself by stepping in front of a bullet to protect another person?

RAND: No. It depends on the circumstances. I would step in the way of a bullet if it were aimed at my husband. It is not self-sacrifice to die protecting that which you value: If the value is great enough, you do not care to exist without it. This applies to any alleged sacrifice for those one loves.

That is nice and all, but I think men should be the protectors. Women are the nurturers. Taking a bullet for the other person falls under the protector category.

I don't think there's even a need to take a bullet. Just push the person.

Also, the scenario will never really happen to 99.9% of people, so it's pretty pointless to spend time thinking about it.
