In part 3, they said real estate will do poorly. However, this is inconsistent with their predictions of hyperinflation.

no it's not. they showed that people don't spend much money on rent during hyperinflation... and the return on investment of real estate is rental income.

granted, real estate would do better than cash or bonds... but gold, silver and agriculture will do much much much better than residental realestate.

the main point is that real estate is not going to preserve your wealth in the event of hyperinflation. so they are correct in saying that it will do poorly. it is true that the dollar value of the house will increase... but the real value of the house will decrease.

From My Research Real Estate will perform poorly and agriculture gold and silver will over shoot their nominal value as mania ensues...
