From the sounds of it, Jenny Sanford pretty much made Mark what he is today. She was already loaded given that her Grandfather was the founder of the Skil Company (powertool maker), and she was a V.P. of M&A at Lazard Freres Investment Bank. She ran all his campaigns out of their basement when they started out. She's probably happy to let him wallow around in his own idiocy for a while after all her work for him.
