Saw it being promoted, as an avenue for independent media.
I've got an account and uploaded my video about Barack Obama which was censored due to bullshit reason from youtube, i.e visual copyright violation. (even though I don't believe in IP - it still isn't a violation, even if I did)
http://vueflix.com/view_channel.php?user=Conza88 Is the channel...
http://vueflix.com/watch_video.php?v=55aefc6902b6cbf
Is the video.. hopefully RPF can work out the script for it?
Edit: Will be seeing how quality can be improve on the upload.

YouTube’s Parent Google is a Corporate Member of the Council on Foreign Relations
As Paul Joseph Watson and Kurt Nimmo note today, Google is in bed with the CIA. In 2006, Robert David Steele, a 20-year Marine Corps infantry and intelligence officer and a former clandestine services case officer with the CIA, told Alex Jones as much. Steele went so far as to name Dr. Rick Steinheiser as the CIA’s liaison at Google.
But it is not simply the CIA. Google is high up on the elitist NWO pyramid, a fact pointed out by an Infowar’s reader and missed by the editors. As it turns out, Google is a corporate member of the Council on Foreign Relations. In late 2006, Google bought YouTube for US$1.65 billion in stock, so it is fair to say YouTube is also pushing the CFR’s one-world government agenda.
It also explains why YouTube is going after Alex Jones and why The Alex Jones Channel was scrubbed from the popular website.
“The CFR is the American Branch of a society which originated in England, and which believes that national boundaries should be obliterated, and a one-world rule established,” the late Carroll Quigley wrote in his book, “Tragedy & Hope.”
“The ultimate aim of the CFR is to create a one-world socialist system, and to make the U.S. an official part of it,” explained Dan Smoot, a former member of the FBI Headquarters staff in Washington, D.C.
“The CFR is the establishment,” writes Congressmen John R. Rarick. “Not only does it have influence and power in key decision-making positions at the highest levels of government to apply pressure from above, but it also finances and uses individuals and groups to bring pressure from below, to justify the high level decisions for converting the U.S. from a sovereign Constitution Republic into a servile member of a one-world dictatorship.”
CFR “members have run, or are running, NBC and CBS, ‘The New York Times’, ‘The Washington Post’, ‘The Des Moines Register’, and many other important newspapers. The leaders of ‘Time’, ‘Newsweek’, ‘Fortune’, ‘Business Week’, and numerous other publications are CFR members. The organization’s members also dominate the academic world, top corporations, the huge tax-exempt foundations, labor unions, the military, and just about every segment of American life,” write Jack Newell and Devvy Kidd.
The “pressure from above” mentioned by Rarick is being used to silence influential critics of the concept of a one-world dictatorship now in motion.
It is, however, too late for the control freaks and one-worlders to squash the opposition. Google’s YouTube may have swept The Alex Jones into the memory hole, but this will not prevent the message from reaching millions of people who now know the New World Order is determined to reduce the planet to a slave labor gulag run by the international bankers and their minions.

stfu. please. "OMG GOOGLE IS APART OF THE CONSPIRACY OF THE WORLD NEW ORDER! THEY BE CFR~!"
life is too short to do this. call out those who need calling out.
as for the first post, i dont think youtube will ever disappear. the only way somewhere else can survive is as something else (like vimeo is a place to upload HD videos, more produced more professional, rather than LOLCats.) this site doesnt look like it will be as popular as either youtube nor vimeo.

Most of those are pretty good but there is absolutely nothing wrong with putting more options on the table and don't bring Wikipedia comparison of web services into this, Why? Just look at their comparison of email services.
Oh and Veoh belongs nowhere on that list with their "You must install our crap" policy.

oh no, im not saying there's anything wrong
im surprised websites like freedom.tv, breakthematrix.com hasnt made their own patriot tube (its not hard, I've seen the script somewhere)
i just wanted to know if vueflix has anything that'll make them worthy of viral support in the short run. and yeah, i am not with any "install our crap" services, I wasn't using wikipedia to compare, but as a guide to see which ones are somewhat popular already.
when I worked on blogs, it was nice to have wikipedia's list of CMS & blogs to try each one out.

Google and Youtube are much better than corrupted traditional TV media in America but looks like a new independent video medium is needed considering how civil free speech is being censored even by YT now.
Youtube Bans “Feeling The Hate In Jerusalem”
June 18th 2009
Feeling The Hate In Jerusalem — The Censored Video from Max Blumenthal on Vimeo.
Youtube has removed my video, “Feeling The Hate In Jerusalem,” on the baseless grounds that it contains “inappropriate content.” They have offered me no further explanation and have stonewalled my inquiries and attempts to rectify the situation. Thus they have censored a video that contains far less inflammatory content than thousands of video they are already hosting. Why? I won’t ascribe motives to Youtube I am unable to confirm, but it is clear there is an active campaign by right-wing Jewish elements to suppress the video by filing a flood of complaints with Youtube. At the same time these elements have attempted to paint me as a self-hating Jew determined to foment anti-Semitism. I answered this last charge to Ha’aretz (read the barely coherent article here) last week: “I have received death threats from people, mainly ones calling me a self-hating Jew. I am self-hating, but my self-hatred has nothing to do with me being Jewish.”

Censored by the Huffington Post, Imprisoned by the Past: Why I Made “Feeling The Hate in Jerusalem”
June 8th 2009 On Wednesday, I walked around central Jerusalem with my friend, Joseph Dana, an Israel peace activist who has lived in the country for three years. We interviewed young people on camera about the speech President Barack Obama planned to deliver to the Muslim world the following day in Cairo. Though our questions were not provocative at all – we simply asked, “What do you think of Obama’s speech” – the responses our interview subjects offered comprised some of the most shocking comments I have ever recorded on camera. They were racist, hateful, and incredibly ignorant, and were mostly couched within a Zionist context – “this is our land, Obama!” The following day, we edited an hour of interviews into a 3:30 minute video package and released it on Mondoweiss and on the Huffington Post.
Within a few hours, I received an email from a Huffington Post administrator informing me he had scrubbed my video from the site. “I don’t see that it has any real news value,” the administrator told me. “For me it only proves that one can find drunk people willing to say just about anything. Especially drunk, moronic people.” For the first time, the premier clearinghouse for online news and opinions had suppressed one of my posts.

Political free speech in America could be greatly crippled the way things are progressing unless we are vigilant.

Chris crocker can make videos about being a cross dresser and brittany's makeup malfunctions, yet people can't post vids about the "fringe of politics". Something doesn't smell right with supression like this going on.
