The worst part about this bill is that all the extra taxes (mostly hidden in 1200 pages) will go into effect, but we will not have a cleaner environment and will barely see any new development of alternative energies. I was just through Redmond a week ago, and I noticed a huge amount of new wind mills going up in that area. Does your congressmen think he is going to get a bunch of federal money for his district because of the green power?

I noticed one of the other republicans that voted for it is in the CA high desert so I wonder if she thinks she is getting federal money for solar plants and wind generators?

after the bailout vote, with more wholesale citizen outrage presented than any other vote I remember save maybe the amnesty vote, this one was no surprise to most of us at all.
