I'm not a big fan of ferrets, but people should have the right to have them as pets.

I'm not a ferret person either, but banning them as pets is just ridiculous. There's never been a case of ferrets transmitting disease, and they can't survive in the wild. If you lose your ferret, it will die in a day or two. Period. He has no reason for banning them other than because he was the king.
