What if every member here mentioned a few keywords in twitter tweets at the same time? I know the site posts the top 10 tweeted things on the side. Often if you click on that "Trending topic" you'll see people saying "Omg, why is _____ a trending topic?". I think that could possibly prompt people to do what the trending topic says (We could do something like "Google Ron Paul".
Any thoughts on this? I have no idea how many people are needed to be a trending topic, but I'd imagine way too many, but it's a thought.
