After Q2, the campaign had spend what it raised in Q1 and had about 2.4M from
Q2 in the bank. How much do you think the campaign spent this quarter?

between $1.8 and $2.0 million is my haphazard guess.

my fear is that Ron Paul will not spend every red sent. That man is too good with money! ;)

Well I know that he put out around 190,000 just for the Iowa Straw Poll, and he has increased his staff, but other than that I haven't seen anything that has been a money vacuum, so I am saying $500,000, which is double what he spent in Q2.

Very thrifty if it's true. I like thrifty in a politician!

He's opened a number of new state campaign offices, moved the national campaign headquarters to a much bigger and more expensive location, doubled or tripled his staff and has flown all over the country (and not just by himself). I would guess he has likewise nearly tripled his expenses.

what states did he open campaign offices?

Now that you ask, I guess I shouldn't have said "offices". What I meant was that he has hired coordinators for a number of states. Off the top of my head, Texas, Iowa and Minnesota come to mind. In addition to that, my understanding is that he has added staff to some of the others, such as New Hampshire.

Cowlesy, You're cagey. According to your posts Ron Paul will end the 3rd quarter in the Red. LOL
